RE: Zorko - Bullet dodged for many, must say I had him on my watchlist but was unlikely.

This thread has got plenty to play out I reckon in the next few weeks, there's a few names I wouldn't mind seeing creep in here just to make things a little easier going into selecting a squad for round#1

Yep - if it’s a long term injury then Allen will get the best key defender/ other defenders will zone off trying to intercept as he is the obvious key focal point.

If it's long term for Darling, any chance we get Jack Williams? $123k R/F, would be good to have at the very least a warm body at R3 early on.

On the other hand he (Allen) might get the CHF role rather than FF.
Reckon he’s a better SC prospect in that position

Possible but I suspect they go with Jake Waterman as the CHF/ Allen FF if Darling out for awhile

It might help but Sydney's game style changed entirely as well which also contributed to Lloyd's irrelevance.

It might help but Sydney's game style changed entirely as well which also contributed to Lloyd's irrelevance.

Big part of the style change was Blakey though.

Expect Florent steps into that slot if he's not ready for round one (who is similar to Blakey, just nowhere near as good). Would expect that Francis probably comes in and Bell or Rampe play smaller, that's the changes that make the most sense. Otherwise Campbell is the other obvious option although Horse hasn't seemed to like him at HB so it doesn't seem as likely.
