Hope Steele is good to go, brought him in DT 2 weeks ago and figured I'd double down and got him in SC last week, hasn't paid off yet...

To be fair, clubs are probably sick of the constant angst form media / supporters when a 2 week becomes 3 or 4. It's not a perfect science.
Nothing about fantasy coaches complaining about 6 weeks turning into 2?

North Melb.
I was enjoying watching their games earlier in the season, not so much now, back then the defence was rock solid and the attacking was fast and furious, goal kicking seems to have reverted back to the ole days when they could hardly kick a goal to save their lives, especially when it was really needed. Hope Ross has a plan B because whatever the plan was the last 3 weeks ( bar North), it's not working.
Not that you really need a plan against us this year anyway

22 AFL standard players will just about do it.

He was just on SEN but due to witching hour I didn't hear much of it. He was on his way to rehab this morning so take what you will from that.

"Captain Jack Steele finished the match with ice on his knee following a "tweak", however is expected to be available against his former side".
This is from this article the other day...
Room to improve, but 'buoyant' Lyon confident of bounce back (saints.com.au)

I think they were using caution dragging Steele when they did, (game was done, scorewise) and similar with Marshall, (game was already won).
I'd rather see that than a situation like Darling the other day playing with a broken arm.

"Steele will attempt to train this week but says he dodged an injury bullet given he could so easily have torn his ACL as he attempted to tackle Rory Sloane but instead got his leg caught in that collision.

“It’s just a little medial strain. Tomorrow we will go in for a review and do some skills so that will give us an idea. If we can get through that I will try to train Friday but if it feels a little uncomfortable I don’t (think) we are going to push it too far. At this stage it feels all right so I feel like I would be able to get through a bit of a light flush (session) and jog around tomorrow so we will see how we go.

“I fell to the ground and tried to pick the ball up and almost tried to tackle him from the ground which put me in a position where my legs were in between his legs as he was trying to kick the footy. I have had a look at the vision and it could have been a lot worse. So I am grateful that it is what it is. I have found it hard mentally just dealing with a sore knee the last few days. I couldn’t imagine what 12 months out would do for me.”

Would be nice but Cumming didn't actually play on the weekend so Fahey would need to be replacing somebody else.
My read is that Fahey isn’t too far away from making a debut and if the Giants weren’t flush with HBF he’d already be there. Pretty sure they are trying him a bit further up the ground to try and get him into the team in some capacity, they seem bullish to get games into him, just where on the ground. Royston another that played well on the weekend that might come back in.
