RICHMOND star Tom Lynch is set for another significant stint on the sidelines after suffering a serious hamstring injury late in Sunday’s win over Sydney at the MCG.

Scans on Easter Monday have revealed "significant" hamstring tendon damage behind his left knee that is likely to require surgery.

The 31-year-old will meet with a surgeon later this week to determine the next course of action with a timeline to become clearer then.

Hore to miss 3-4

MARTY Hore is set for a short stint on the sidelines after injuring his thumb during Melbourne’s Round 3 win over Port Adelaide.
Selwyn Griffith, the club’s High-Performance manager, provided an update on the defender.
“Following some imagery, scans have shown that he’s suffered a fracture to his thumb that requires surgery,” Griffith told Melbourne Media.
“It’s disappointing for Marty because he’s played a great role for us over the last few weeks, but hopefully he’ll only miss the next two games and look to be available as we come into our ANZAC Day Eve game.”
