NO, Too soon, Hollands will be on the bubble next week! A lot of coin to pay. then for Walsh to come in and slow his scoring down! pending todays output of course.
I've gone early on Hollands, was thinking of stashing him in my round 1 team, bur he's in this week. We'll still see him in the centre square on occasions when Walshy comes back, but there's plenty of points on the wing and forward.

Yeah just that I'd rather see Walsh in this week before Hollands price rise or 2/3 weeks after. On the week of the bubble makes it very awkward. Trying to figure out who goes a midfielder (Carroll or Kennedy) or one of the small forwards? assuming one of Corey Durdin or Matthew Owies will be sub today?

Yeah it's a tough one selection wise, if Fantasia has a couple of bad games he could get pushed out of the side or if he gets injured. Carroll might go too, just not sure how it will pan out.

I really don’t think Walsh will affect Hollands but I also don’t like Hollands as a pick unfortunately. Just will be HFF majority of the game. Gun player though but role too poor for mine.

If Walsh really does come back next week, I imagine Carroll is the one to make way as expected. I wouldn’t be opposed to Walsh being the sub on his return game, but would probably be the other way around and Carroll comes on for Walsh once he makes it through three quarters.

I somewhat disagree about the role, although will always cede to a fan of a team because your knowledge would be better formed than mine. I thought his role last week (in the Flanders mould) was pretty decent, having the license to roam wherever he liked to gather possies. A big watch for me this arvo.

Thanks for the input. I see he only had the 2 CBA's last week. That doesn't look like its a mid role. Still a watch today of course to understand where he sits. First game for a new team and all.

Yeah, in terms of a Carlton perspective, he's taken over the Cuningham role (half-forward with a sprinkle of CBA's, between 5-15%)

I definitely wouldn't compare him to Flanders role myself. Great matchup last week & 48 AF points in the last quarter. The pre-season game was the exact same role where he scored 48SC.

Of course if he goes 90+ today, he'll have some guranteed $$$ at least with a low BE.

Well with a score of 19 and subbed out with an injury, we can kick that choice down the road hey @Professor ? Oh no you didn't go a week early did you? 🤣
