Just on Reid
The young star completed several tests with fitness staff before heading to the rooms and did not return as the players completed three 20-minute periods of match play.
The Eagles confirmed late on Friday that Reid was continuing to be assessed with a sore lower leg.
The former No.1 pick was on a modified training program leading up to Christmas as he managed disrupted scar tissue from an old lower-leg injury. He also spent time on the sidelines after a knock to the head in training.

Ok, this preseason is already not boding well for my season. It would seem that even appearing in an early preseason draft side is a death knell.
Reid, Phillipou, Lynch, English, Marshall, Bolton, Daniel and pretty sure a couple more already
Treloar injury definitely makes an interesting battle between Kennedy and Sanders if either takes the spot. Albeit would be short lived assuming Treloar gets back but with his soft tissue history that's not a given.
Feels like this preseason is already extremely hectic on the injury front.

Opens the door for Jedd Busslinger for round 1 - impressed in the VFL last year, went pick 13 in the 2022 draft.

Busslinger’s quality is obvious for those that watch him and he makes his games count, highlighted with Under 18s All-Australian selection despite playing just two Under 18s Championships games.

If jones is out 8-10 weeks, means he comes back around Round 4-6. Really line ball whether Busslinger has enough time to generate enough cash. If I remember properly, Jones id a super fit individual- the sort of player you would be backing to come back earlier rather than later. Might still be viable, and the list of defender rookie options is not big, so will definitely keep eyes open.
