That really sucks, thought he was the best rookie prospect this year for SC, and was looking forward to see what he could do. Would have preferred him go to a club with a bit weaker midfield, but playing anywhere would have been good. :(

SSP closed on Friday too, horrible timing for the club to get a season long injury.

Think the Blues will be OK still, but if they do end up having a bad year, it's actually a good result (probably not everyone agrees, but Hawks have the Blues first two draft picks).

I think so too, didn't look like Jagga was going to play much midfield at all (I think Lord was ahead of him) but was certainly going to be a big part of the future, as well as more of a midfield role if we lost 2 of Hewett/Cripps/Walsh/Cerra at any stage of the year.

Certainly hurts out depth, but arguably doesn't hurt out 23 at this stage (looked like he was going to play HFF which I don't think he's totally suited to)

And 2 ACL's before Round 1, ouch

Cullum Mills was a lock, I'm not sure now.
How can you manage the training loads when you have mild plantar fasciitis?
Rest is needed to recover.
Googled: mild plantar fasciitis recovery time
A mild case of plantar fasciitis typically takes 6-12 weeks to recover with proper treatment, including stretching and rest, with most people seeing significant improvement within the first two months.

Key points about mild plantar fasciitis recovery:
  • Early intervention is key:
Starting treatment early with rest, ice, stretching, and supportive footwear can significantly shorten recovery time.

  • Pain management:
Over-the-counter pain medication like ibuprofen can help alleviate discomfort while healing.

  • Physical therapy:
A physical therapist can provide specific stretches and exercises to strengthen the plantar fascia and calf muscles.

  • Footwear considerations:
Wearing supportive shoes with good arch support can help reduce strain on the plantar fascia.
Factors that may affect recovery time:
  • Severity of the condition: More severe cases may take longer to heal.

  • Activity level: Maintaining high-impact activities during recovery can slow down healing.

  • Age: Older individuals may have slower healing times.
I’ve had a mild/moderate case previously and it was pretty annoying, at least 2-3 weeks of minimal activity and rolling it out before I was relatively pain free. I’d say reduce the recovery time by a week or so with the high level medical treatment AFL players get.

A lot of the issue was dealing with the pain when running and trying to land when bowling. In afl, I would assume changing direction or taking off would be the most painful situations.

In ordinary people its lingers for 12 months. Worst case for these guys though they can have a cortisone if it looks like a long one.
