It’s the right result imo but the ruling is a clear departure from every previous tribunal decision which focuses on the actual result to the player (rather than the action itself). Don’t think I’ve ever heard reasoning such as “result to the player should be ignored” and weight should be given to the “potential to cause injury”.

Can only hope they apply that reasoning consistently going forward but I have my doubts.
