I recently re-visited the past by watching all the Planet of the Apes Movies in year of production order and it helped me to relate to how they fit together with the more modern versions of the movies since the Mark Wahlberg first remake...(Planet of the Apes)
I didn't even remember Ceasar from the first time I saw the original movies in the 70's when I was a kid but the old flicks definitely relate to the more modern depiction of Ceasar's story and how he was the instigator of the changing of the Ape's future.
New film to be released this week and Disney+ have all to stream.

New Life, is a movie I watched recently, found it really enjoyable and engaging, not sure what category to put it in?, Sci-fi, Horror maybe.... a bit of both combined, very suspenseful well written, directed and acted...(Imho).

Finally got around to watching the first five. Seen bits and pieces before but otherwise it was limited to references on The Simpsons or Hanging with Doctor Z.

1 great, 3 and 4 solid, best not to speak about 2 and thankfully Paul Williams was in the 5th.

Why did it take six years for the sequel to arrive?
Dante: The studio never really understood the tone of the first picture. One executive liked the movie and the others were just perplexed. But when it opened big, all of a sudden they wanted another one. They put teams of writers on different concepts. Apparently one idea was Gremlins Go To Vegas. Another was Gremlins On Mars. Whatever they could think of. Gremlins Meet Ma And Pa Kettle!
Baker: I’d see Gremlins Meet Elvis.
Dante: Or Gremlins Vs. Godzilla.

Any Horror fans seen 'It Follows' from 2015?
I thought it was a great modern indi film with an original, quite scary concept, was hoping there would've been a part 2 by now but not to be apparently.
Definitely worth a watch.

“The Conversation“ mentioned frequently as a great movie on Gilbert Gottfried’s Amazing Colossal podcast and is on the Classics channel tonight (unavailable on demand on Binge but Classics is one of their linear channels in the app).
