Love a good spontaneous sing in public. A few of my teacher mates use to break into Mr Big - To be with you at school, camps and at bars. We even sung the song with the band at a mates wedding.
Funny you should mention Mr Big... As one of the bands I've been posting over the last few weeks, The Winery Dogs... features 2 members of Mr Big, Billy Sheehan on bass and Richie Kotzen who played guitar in Mr Big but also handles lead vocals in The Winery Dogs.

Here's Mr Big performing a song of theirs called Shine with Kotzen & Sheehan...

And here's Kotzen and Sheehan performing it as The Winery Dogs with Mike Portnoy on drums and Kotzen singing lead vocals...

And a bonus Mr Big clip... This time with Paul Gilbert on guitar instead of Kotzen

"I Fought the Law" popularized by a cover by the Bobby Fuller Four, which went on to become a top-ten hit for the band in 1966. The Bobby Fuller Four version of this song was ranked No. 175 on the Rolling Stone list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time in 2004, and the same year was named one of the 500 "Songs that Shaped Rock" by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

This reminded me of the Theatre Musical "Hair". Around the same time that it was on in Melbourne, I was doing my art course at Prahan College and the length of my hair went half way down my back. After a shower, to dry my hair, I would pull it over my shoulder for the hair drier.

Runaway June - Buy My Own Drinks

A lovable track, and the video is a whole lotta fun.

One of the divers working the season recently was a writer for Runaway June. The revelation came from no where. It was a throw away line to her friends, who wouldn't have known the significance. I was like WOW and then Covid19 shut down, and then I couldn't follow up. :(
