These heat maps can be hard to understand. If someone can explain this to me, that would be great. On my phone, if I have my iPhone in portrait mode, it will come up with a different heatmap from when I turn my iPhone around. I have been uploading the potrait heatmaps, but looking at it now, I think the landscape heatmaps are more accurate. Let's look at Fyfe for example. Here is his potrait heatmap from this weekend.

He is on the wing a lot. Here is his landscape heatmap.

The landscape heatmap seems a lot more realistic to me. I will go through all my old posts and add in these heatmaps, but what should I do for future ones? I think I will post the landscape ones from now on, but what do you guys think?

Looking at heatmaps for one game can be a bit misleading. For example, the ball was in Sydney's forward half most of the game so to say JPK played slightly more forward on Saturday isn't a surprise.

Great thread. I don't think you've done Ablett. If not, can you please put him up?
Also, Sidebottom would be interesting.

Yes, this is correct. No one should be basing trades solely on this, it is just to get a bit of an idea about the player's role so far.

Can any one access this same info on a pc or laptop? That might confirm which one is correct as they don't have the two vieing options.

Looking at the landscape heat map posted above, it look like you can choose either to view either Match or Season. The season one will be interesting after a few rounds.

I think it is only accessible through the app, so I have got my iPad out and checked. The iPad uses the landscape version only, so I think I will stick with that and it also has percentages and a season heatmap available.

I'm editing page 2, and some of the heatmaps are the same in potrait and landscape.

Loving your work on here aleceee and fantastic idea for a thread.

I think this will become one of the most popular viewed thread during the season, especially around upgrade time.

One I found very interesting that no one has posted yet. Mitch Robinson. Here is his heatmap.

He is playing mainly in defence. This might be because the Lions got smashed, but they still got to 100 points or so so I am not sure why he was playing so much in his defensive half.
