Rocky + Collins.

Rocky starting to go bang and he has 4/5 of his remaining games at the Gabba or ES.

Hoping he can finish off with a 120-125 average like he usually does (and stay on the park too).

Treloar vs Cripps vs Shiel

and reasons on why? Leaning Treloar as a POD but finding it hard to split them.
At this stage of the year we have a large sample size of games so I would just go with the guy that has averaged the most of of the three.

So Treloar for me.

Treloar > Shiel > Cripps for me
I concur.

I believe that treloar has had a few poor DE games but still been playing well. If he gets it together could easily string a few great games together. It doesnt look as likely for me that the other two have the ability to do so, although shiel did show a lot early in the season

Thanks Bomber, I'm inclined to agree. Rocky is averaging c. 120 if you take out his two injury games. It's not immediately obvious he is doing so well from the stats, so that's part of the explanation, but he's not as popular as that form would suggest he should be.

I own Ward (GAJ replacement), and am eye-ing up Neale this week.

Pros Ward:
- Plays GC and Freo
- WCE game is in Sydney/Spotless
- North/Etihad game is in R23, may be more on the line than normal for both?

Negatives Ward:
- Etihad stadium in R23 where his average over 45 games isn't great

Pros Neale:
- 3 of last 4 games at home
- Should get to "go head to head" with some decent mids / contested games

Cons Neale:
- Tough four opponents
- Nothing much to gain from winning!

I actually like both, but i would say there is less variation in Neale's scoring - if you look at Ward's scores this year they're quite up and down.

Need a replacement for Libba and I've narrowed it down to two.

Neale v Ward

Thoughts?

I'd take Neale - scoring is more consistent and this year has not been the flat track bully of years past - which is handy for him given Freo's form
Ward's scoring has been up and down and the easy games have not been his bigger scorers

I had designs on getting Ward during the byes but my trade plans changed when Dahl went down. Actually glad I missed him

Thoughts on Libba replacement

Pendles vs JPK

Head says Pendles for consistency but concerned he might get a rest

I would choose Pendles normally. Can't see them resting him but he is carrying a niggle. Tough call. To be on the safe side I would say Kennedy.
Cheers Slammer.
Hadn't initially considered it but JPK could be a nice pod during finals.

If I can't loophole this week, would anyone play Naismith over anyone in this forward line:
Dusty, Zorko, Merrett, Franklin, Montagna, Wells

I wouldn't play Naismith over any of those guys.

Hopefully you will have the opportunity to loophole him if required.

If I had to pick one of the bunch it would be Montagna, but as per BB I wouldn't play him over any of them
