Bradbury concept or not, my point is that you just push on. When we had SCE several years back, we were the #1 league multiple years for the season overall and it wasn’t because all the coaches finished top 1000, far from it. We had coaches spread from top 10 through to 25k or higher, but they never gave up. We had one rule, no ghost ships. If anyone ghost shipped they were never invited back and we lost several times the overall top league spot because of it early.

I just hate hearing it, yeah it sucks, we get ****e hands in life at times and we just have to deal with it and move on.

SCS has the same rule. NO GHOST SHIPS

If members don't play fully throughout the season in any SCS competition leagues, they will be excluded from all SCS official competition leagues.

The LG team keep note in the background. If you see such behaviour please PM a LG member.

We will contact the member for an explanation, and sometimes it isn't as clear cut as it seems. However, if it is ghost shipping LG organisors of league will exclude said members from any SCS Official League.

Re-affirm @KLo30 sentiments about Ghost Ships

I’ve been doing pretty bad for the last 7 years in SuperCoach and I think my highest is about 10,000 and my worst is 100,000 (just guesstimate) but I’ve never Ghost Ship.

I hope everyone takes the same approach.

Imagine if I ghost shipped all these years? How would everyone feel?

I’m a previous Overall SuperCoach Winner and it can be embarrassing 7 years without a top 10,000 finish but even then I still don’t Ghost Ship, so I expect the same courtesy.

In SCS Premier League, at the start of the year, the SCS members do an analysis of who they think will win and who they think will come last and I’m always favourite to come last and it always happens; I just laugh it off embarrassingly.

R1 D1 Stewart 🤯
R2 R1 Gawn 😡
R3 who we got money on F1 or M1

Nice 18 points from these 2 plus Ashcroft on the pine last night 🫣 I can barely bring myself to look at my team and we are only 10 days into the new season 🤬
Yeah that's a tough start and there will be a few in the same boat.
I kinda feel that seeing Gawn, Jones and Stewart go down within the first few minutes of the game through injury was easier to take than watching Fyfe last week play like :poop: for a tad over 2 hours with a decision on whether to hold or keep through the week.

I know you meant Stewart, but it still gave me a fright reading Sicily!

Why do you guys focus on the negatives? There are so many positives out there in life; what about your picks who exceeded expectations?
It's called humour Chels, and or taking the piss, a welcome relief for many from the rigours or trials of everyday life.

Therein lies the issue as so many set unrealistic expectations with a small probability of ever being met. Scores are viewed in isolation rather than holistically which is why on any given round the majority of their players could all score 110+ but if one scores below 60 or 40 etc there will be bound to be more noise made regarding that, rather than focusing on the rest. If that isn’t the case then coaches are living on former rankings glory expecting it to be a certainty once again or under the false impression that their success rate on 50-50 decisions will be astronomically high or faultless.

But how long does that excuse last, if it is incessant across 164 days?
