you got a ruck problem round 9 if you havent moved witts on by then, nank would be better up fwd than ryder for this reason. Ryder the better pick....hoping nank goes monster though

DEF: Cookie Cutter backline, same as mine.

MID: Great line, leave as is.

RUC: Cookie Cutter ruck line.

FWD: Petracca for POD is a risk that could work seeing as the rest of your team is very strong. Just a worry that with 5 keepers, you are limiting yourself to 1 other fwd upgrade only and potentially could miss out trading in some of the other highest averaging premiums that do eventually show up. But I guess it's a personal preference thing.
Like the team dude really good. If not Petracca you could also try Touk Miller, went at over 1.1 pts per minute in JLT avg and attended 20 CBAs (centre bounce attendances) with the likes of Ablett, Hall, Barlow in the mids looks like he getting plenty this year. I really like the structure, thats very similar for me if big maxy is announced solo ruck round 1 which i think he will

I took on board the big fellas advice with my forward line cheers Tamuhawk you are 100% correct about no room up forward in earlier team....also i got on board the swallow train. Hasnt played much footy but looks fit, 17d at 100% eff i believe last JLT? A month ago Rocket said Swallow will be predominantly mid this year. I think he is probs building nicely....attended 14 CBAs

Really want Buddy in my team, look superfit if he can not give away so many frees (yeah right) he can add another 5 to 7ppg. He generally avgs around 18 or 19 dis and 3.1 goals a game each year. Avg 107 over JLT and got on the lead up the ground a lot. Plugga must be helping him with his lead cos he's not great over head so seems like thats the plan and he looks strong....ready to go.

Alrighty, I've got my team listed below... I'm relatively content with how it all looks but I still have $243,000 left over and I'm not sure how to spend it.

DEF: Shaw, Rance, Laird, Marchy, Hampton, EVW (Otten, Stewart)

MID: Danger, Hanners, Treloar, Fyfe, Beams, O'Meara, Swallow, SPP (Barrett, Pickett, Deluca)

RUC: Sandi, Witts (Strnadica)

FWD: Dahl, Buddy, Greene, Roughy, Nank, Taranto (Butler, Eddy)

Cash Left: $243,000 (too much)
------------

Ideas how to spend it:
1. Upgrade Nank or Sandilands to Goldy.
2. Upgrade Laird to Doch.
3. Too many donuts in Deluca and Strnidica?
4. Upgrade O'Meara to a premo.
5. ?????

Really in a bit of a pickle here fellas.

Fwds: Nroo, Dahlhaus, Buddy, Higgins, Taranto, Houston (Eddy, Butler)

I have finalised my team, but I have 6 premiums between 11-23% ownership, and none as pods (<10%). ATM, my only players below 10% are Joel Smith and Deluca! I truly am going cookie cutter this year...

What's your out if Sandilands is a late out or is injured in first 6 rounds? I'd consider going Taranto to Witts, but I'm a Taranto fan so not sure how you could get the extra coverage in without sacrificing your structure.

I try not to concern myself too much with %. If you do the maths, there will be very few teams with the exact same set-up as you... add to that 23 rounds and 30 trades, cookie cutters no longer apply.

Everything I have read this pre-season tells me that this game is won with in-season, not pre-season, decisions (caveat: don't start a shocker of a team, obviously).

I just hope I'm not starting a shocker!

Just a bit of nerves I think. Might stay away from the site until I get home tonight to digest the team news.

Hey guys would love some feedback!

Shaw, Adams, Laird, Marchbank, Hampton, Otten, (Stewart, EVW)

Danger, Pendles, JPK, Selwood, Treloar, Fyfe, SPP, Barret, (Florent, Parfitt, JDC)

Hickey, Sandi (Strnadica)

NRoo, Dahl, Buddy, Taranto, Turner, Miles (Butler, Eddy)

What is shaping up as the final squad. Deep mid and Hickey starting as the potential breakout player considering I don't think we'll see any of Longer this season.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be really appreciated!!

Looks good. I'd swap out Miles or Butler for Pickett and bring Florent down to the forwards and start him on the field.

Good structure. Marchbank and Taranto are too expensive to be sitting on your bench.
