Don't know. A few days ago I was relatively happy with this. Now I'm not so sure. So any feedback is more than welcome.

Bit niggly about Wines. Before, I had Ablett in and Simpson in the back line. I guess the pay off is being able to afford Shaw.

Yeah thats the trade off.

FWIW I prefer GAJ and Simpson to Shaw and Wines, but thats just my personal opinion.

But I also think that taking all of GAJ Fyfe and Rocky is pretty risky given the limited preseason and injury status.

Hi everyone, would rally apreciate some feedback on my team as i am not 100% sold on it...

Def: Shaw, Laird, KK, Sheridan, Hartley, Adams (Brown, Ruggles)
Mid: Danger, GAZ, Priddis, Selwood, Rocky, B.Crouch, Mills, Menadue (Petracca, Keays, Davis)
Ruck: Goldy, Gawn (Loersch)
Fwd: Barlow, Gray, Hall, Wells, Kennedy, Kerridge (McCarthy, Tippa)

Main concern is how weak the forward line is... Anyway, please let me know your thoughts!

Very solid. You have all the obvious rookie picks. Don't know your bank balance but maybe consider Gresham for Petracca if picked Round 1. Have a plan for Ruggles if he's not named too.

Boyd, Bartel, B Smith, E.Yeo, Dea, M.Hartley (M Brown, Ruggles)
Fyfe, Ablett, T.Mitchell, Rockliff, Libba, B.Crouch, C.Mills, C.Oliver (Menadue, Petracca, R.Davis)
Goldy, Jacobs (Wyatt)
D.Martin, Barlow, Buddy, Wells, B.Kennedy, Kerridge (M.Adams, AMT)

$3800 remaining balance, leaves no room for corrections

I had S.Gray instead of Buddy for majority of the time but decided to go Buddy. Petracca is the other player i dont really want to start but i only have $127700 to find another mid.
Quite happy with this team, i hope this will have at least 14 keepers (counting libba/smith/yeo) any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Only 5 days out and I'm sweating that I don't have Currie for a ruck-cash cow, and Martin in the forwards.
Pretty sure McGovern can become a keeper.
Set on the mids.

I really like that you have gone for it from kick off. Risk/reward, why not.
Boyd, Smith, Yeo, Liberatore, T. Mitchell, B. Crouch, Franklin could all be great for you.
Great effort.

Good point re: BSmith and Yeo. I think if you select them, then you have to count them as keepers. Like Boyd as a POD in defence too.
You're a braver man than I to go in with Buddy! I'm in the never again camp after getting burnt last year, but not necessarily a bad selection.
Jacobs is the other one that strikes me. Just can't see the upside with a weaker midfield, therefore less HTA and also a tougher draw. I guess the flip side to the weaker midfield is that Danger's points have to go somewhere. Just my 2c.

Looking at the small sample size of the NAB not only was Jacobs HTA down but his sharked taps was extremely high too.

Not sure that not going in with Currie is anything to stress about. I'm not convinced he's best 22, just very vanilla. Likewise I don't think that Dusty is a must-have. He's fully priced and he has a high standard deviation in his scoring so you can always pick him up for a discount.

Here's my effort:

D: Shaw, Bartel, McGovern, Sheridan, Dea, Brown [Hartley, Adams]
M: Fyfe, Ablett, Shiel, Selwood, Rockliff, Liberatore, Crouch, Mills [Keays, Petracca, Davis]
R: Gawn, Smith [Grimley]
F: Deledio, Barlow, Hall, Wells, Menadue, Kerridge [McCarthy, McDonald-Tipungwuti]

I've tried to make sure I have who I think will be the top scorer in each line and then filled the remaining spots with value premos who I feel will be keepers in their respective positions, or midpricers who I'm banking on breaking out (Hall/Sheridan) or to be used as stepping stones (Crouch, Smith, possibly Libba.)

Have tried to steer away from fully-priced premos and hope to pick them up at a discount throughout the season.

Hey brett! Not sure that Brodie Smith is much less of a risk than Sheridan, and no Libba seems super-risky! In your 2nd version, can you go smith down to Sheridan and Parish up to Libba?

Go team Wine and Popcorn!

McGovern pick is one I like, Simpson may become him in my side.

Love the deep midfield, clear upgrade targets in Pendles and Danger which is nice.

Rucks, you've obviously got a Goldy plan so all good.

Keep an eye on Lids, was in for scans after training apparently.

Great team. I can see your reasoning behind every player. One thing that stood out to me, you'll happily go Deledio and Shaw at full price, but avoiding Dangerfield and Goldstein who are arguably more durable and more proven and also at peak price. Is this something that you have been set on for quite a while? Or is it something you have done structurally just recently?
