Personally I hope it's not true, we need a midfield bull like Wines or Dunkley. I'd offer McGovern, he's been very underwhelming, but he looked ok in defence in round 18. Unfortunately no permanent spots there for him.
Yeh don't think anyone wants McGovern. Would probably have to package him with a higher draft pick for someone to take him.

Someone looking for a small forward like the Bulldogs should really draft James Rowe out of Woodville-West Torrens. 21 year olds and has kicked 35 from 17 in 2019 backing it up with 38 from 14 in the H&A. Kicked 2.0 in his teams 1st final and so far 5.2 in the Prelim. Has a side similar to Robbie Gray when he plays midfield.

Saw something about him on a Carlton thread, someone we should draft. 😁

Braydon Preuss has nominated GWS as his preferred new home. Late push by Hawthorn saw him weigh up his options but the Melbourne ruckman wants to be traded to the Giants
No doubt that GWS are desperate for a Ruckman, and probably even two!
There in lies the problem.
Preuss will be a mighty attractive SC option. Coming off a 3 games @62.7 season means after his discount he will be priced around $290k, and could potentially average high 80's. That would give owners decent Midprice points, and a +$160k stepping stone to a better R2, but ...... its that "probably even two" part that worries me.
I don't think any club would want to go in with Preuss shouldering the bulk of the main Ruck work, without very decent back up.
Which other Ruck option they target will largely decide if Preuss is a SC trap, or a SC gem!

THE partner of Collingwood’s Adam Treloar will move to Queensland after signing with the Queensland Firebirds.

Star centre Kim Ravaillion has agreed to a 10-month contract with the Brisbane-based Suncorp Super side, paving the way for a unique 2021 for the professional athlete couple.

Treloar will stay back in Melbourne where he will play for Collingwood again next season.

It’s understood Ravaillion’s pending move to Queensland to resume her netball career has prompted questions around Treloar’s future, but the midfielder remains steadfast in wanting to stay with the Pies.

Treloar was linked with a move to the Gold Coast Suns 12 months ago, but refused to entertain any prospect of a trade.

Instead, he and Ravaillion will pursue their careers 1600km apart, while flying back and forth whenever they can during their respective seasons.

Ravaillion will have family support in Brisbane, with her mum to temporarily move interstate to help out in what is a family decision.

Treloar and Ravaillion are both managed Tim Hazell of Vivid Sport Management, with the former Hawk a critical piece in the arrangement.

Ravaillion, who has represented the Australian Diamonds at international level, started her career with the Firebirds before becoming a foundation player for the Collingwood Magpies in 2017.

She sat out the 2020 season for the birth of the pair's daughter.

Carlton and Essendon have begun trade talks over Adam Saad. The opening discussions with the Blues centered on one of Charlie Curnow, Harry McKay or Sam Walsh as a provocative first suggestion of a suitable trade for Saad. The Bombers' next demand was asking for Carlton’s first pick and Tom De Koning. All of these dicussions were rejected by the Blues who believe their existing first-round draft pick on its own is slightly too much for Saad. Carlton have explored options with Geelong about splitting their first-round pick – Carlton trading their early first-round pick to Geelong for two of the three later first-round picks the Cats have in this year’s draft courtesy of the future picks they received for losing Tim Kelly.
