Adelaide have confirmed Brad Crouch has decided to explore his options as a restricted free agent.

They have also confirmed Kyle Hartigan has decided to pursue his rights as an unrestricted free agent and is leaving to return home to Victoria.

I see Hartigan has been linked to a two year deal at the Hawks.

Ben Brown has met virtually with Melbourne.
The Demons have ramped up their interest in Brown, with key Dees personnel attending an online meeting with Brown in recent weeks.
COVID-19 restrictions have prevented clubs from meeting prospective recruits in person.
Industry sources also indicated Melbourne had planned a medical screening for the Tasmanian, whose season was ended by a knee injury.

When I saw Goodie's post, I thought he was the sort of player the Hawks would be looking at, then I see that it was us he is signing with. With Frawley retiring, he fills a need on our list. He is not going to be a superstar, but I don't mind the pick for basically nothing. I know he wasn't a huge favourite with Crows fans, hopefully he is a bit better for us.

Yeah agreed. He's no world beater that's for sure, but with Frawley gone, and Sicily out for 12 months, we needed to add some sort of experienced body down back. I hope it's only a two year deal, but by the sounds it'll be three which seems a touch excessive to me. However, if he's on peanuts (similar to Hartley) and hasn't cost us a pick or anything then it's not too bad for us. Another possibility his recruitment might aid would be to see McEvoy move back into the ruck, but that's maybe wishful thinking. Hopefully across the next year or two we will start to get Jacob Koschitzke up and apart of our best backline.

CARLTON has locked away another key piece of its future, with talented youngster Tom De Koning signing a contract extension that will keep him at the club for at least the next three seasons.

The highly rated De Koning, who was already contracted through until the end of next year, has penned a further two-year extension that will ensure he remains with the Blues until at least 2023.

I know Carlton has some extra cash and spots at the moment but jeez if they kept getting all these new and/or talented players their going to be a scary team to face, which is not something id like to see😂😂

The Brisbane Lions have advised five players they will not be offered a contract for the 2021 AFL season.

Sam Skinner, Matthew Eagles, Toby Wooller, Jacob Allison and Corey Lyons were informed of the decisions during end-of-season meetings carried out this week.

They join veteran Allen Christensen, who retired on Wednesday, as off-season departures.

Cedric Cox has also informed the Club he is seeking a move to Western Australia for family reasons.
