@Herbie66 - I reckon A-Town just got a little bit more Crows with another CRowey on the Crows list mate, what do you reckon 😃
CRowey might be so emotional that he has to give up the media 😀

Was just reading about them both , good luck to them.

Watched his son play in the SANFL , certainly has the footy smarts , lack of pace though might be the deciding factor to see how far he can go.

Perseverance has been rewarded though.

There’s a nice little stat in that article I like mate “Rowe was the SANFL’s No. 1 player for average forward 50 ground-ball gets” I feel that’s something we’ve missed since Charlie Cameron left, Lachie Murphy has been a good kick on goal, but I don’t think he’s got the same forward pressure when the ball is contested on the deck.

You need the three little busy bees like Richmond have , harass , tackle , score goals all the time.

Murphy , Stengle , can't recall the other guy (brain is in BBL mode)

I guess JRowey just works his arse off over preseason and demands a spot.

I got all excited about 7's big build up for the Live draft last night

delay , delay pick Ugle-Hagan , can't have him , then switched over to normal program

what was that all about ? 😀

Will be interesting to see if we go with anyone in the PS or Rookie Drafts tomorrow, wouldn't mind us going a Jackson Callow or Kaine Baldwin. But suspect we may just sit on things as they are and wait until the supplementary period or the mid season draft next year. Another young ruck wouldn't be out of place as a stash either I guess, maybe Max Heath.

With next years draft a strong crop of MIDs up the pointy end, you'd think we likely look to add one of them next year after going DGB as a key defensive post this year.
Looks like we picked up Jack Saunders in the rookie draft. Seemed to have OK stats for a mid this year, not likely to be a regular starter straight away by the look of it though.

I expect the Saints will try to recruit him at some stage with that first name...

Bar DGB, we've gone for very small blokes this draft with speed. Hopefully a few of them come on well.

Crows were interested in someone the Bulldogs were down the order (Cook?), so there was a bit of strategy there to cost them as much as possible to push them down the order.

McAdam is the other busy bee you were think of.

(Edit - it was Rowe the Bulldogs were interested in).

McAdam that's him , now I remember.

Was impressed with your forward line , wonder how the # 1 (or 2) pick affects Fog.

Yeah I can't get my head around all these matching picks for points , trading picks etc etc

Can’t see Thilthorpe playing much next year, they'll give him time to develop, big forwards always take time and we'll still have Tex lumbering around down there next year. No rush.

The natives will get restless if he isn't named Round 1.

Imagine if he kicks 5 on debut......it will be Modra who

With the Crows not likely to play finals next season... Wouldn't it be better to get 22 games into him though? Fast-Track his development.
