From the AFL website.

"GOLD Coast is poised to unveil former Fremantle defender Sam Collins as its third mature-age access selection.

Collins, 24, will joined by Werribee VFL teammate Josh Corbett and SANFL star Chris Burgess on the Suns' list as part of the AFL Commission's assistance package."

I was disappointed we got rid of him. Could be a good supercoach rookie.

Hmm sounds like Aaron Hall might be headed to the Roos, played 6 this year for an average of 79, could anyone shed a light on his price next year? I’m wondering if he'd be SC relevant, remember when he had that run of 6-8 brilliant games a couple of years ago and everyone traded him in........

Would be wonderful wouldn't he. Can see both him and May being in the best 22, really attractive option.

I think for memory he is around about $ 398 k.

Crouch will be $ 375 k
Hanners will be $ 330 k
Miles will be $ 300 k

not sure on Scully & Libba , mind you the way they were talking on trade talk , Scully's ankle is a lot worse than thought and was still not running after 20 weeks.

Good find. These look like some serious make or break options don't they. If 10% of players pick Hanners and there's a 10% chance he returns to 110+ average, that's 2000 players with a gigantic advantage that puts them in top 100 contention.

Next year's competition looks even more luck based than this year.

Hannerbury
2015 22g 114.5 SC pts
2016 22 113.4
2017 21 97.3
2018 14 60.1

Wow, that's some dive. If carrying an injury, or 2, caused his poor performance, then once healthier he should score well again.
Unless his injury is not fixable, hmmm.

I think we will need to start at least 1 if not 2 of those players in the mids (now just have to pick the right ones) , obviously dependent on a lot of things.

Docherty and Williams should be no brainers in defence , but do they get the full discount ?
Daniher & Greene offer value (risk) in the forward line but then if Bont , Danger , Dusty & Parker are all F/M who do we leave out ?
Can we afford to start Gawn & Grundy , if not who are the alternatives?
Can't wait for positions and prices to be released , then of course it will all come down to how many rookies are viable for Round 1 , with DoeFinMur , Fritsch , Holman , Kelly we certainly got spoiled for starting choices this season.
At this early stage I do like Crouch & Hanners , if they are over their injury issues.
Does Miles moving to the GC suffer similarly to what happened with Barlow ?
Sure in for some interesting decisions.

Does anybody know where I can see what injuries players had throughout this year?

Gold Coast lose another Top 10 draft pick.

Jack Scrimshaw (former # 7 pick) traded to Hawthorn , 4 games in 2 years.

Brad Crouch is a gun and easily worth the $375k if fit. Would be my first selected out of those three of looking good come round one, although Hanners will be mighty tempting if moving to a new club gives him a new lease of life.

Depending on the amount of rookies and positions that show up for Round 1, I probably would consider starting 2-3 from Crouch/Hanners/Libba/Miles if they have a good pre-season and play NAB , all capable of going 90 +.

With Doc , Zac Attack and Tobias as will would allow you to spend up big on premiums.

Excited

Beams , Hogan , Lobb ,May , Neale , Scully , Shiel , Wingard come on who is going to start the dominoes.

Surely not all going to wait until the last hour.

Interesting that all of Hall, Scrimshaw, Horlin-Smith, Lloyd and Stengle are given the same "value", a mid 60's pick.

On the face of it, it seems out of whack!

I find Hawthorn the most interesting team to watch during the trade period. They hardly ever get into a bidding war and they chase players that no other team is thinking about. I remember the shock when they chased Josh Gibson because everyone else thought Gibson was just a middling defender. They didn't put up a fight for Buddy when he wanted to leave and have now offered up Burton for Wingard. They don't seem to put much value on the draft.
There is a moneyball feel to the way they construct a list and they seem to value defenders much higher than forwards, at least from a price point of view. I'm now really keen to see how Scrimshaw goes only because Hawthorn chased him when there didn't appear to be any other suitors.

It's fascinating isn't it?!

I really like the type of players they're looking to bring in for this trade period.

Scully-Elite outside mid, compliments Mitchell/O'meara on the inside and Smith on the outside perfectly
Wingard-Reminds me alot of Dangerfield before he went to Geelong. One of my favourite players in the league and his value is heavily discounted due to recent seasons but his talent is undeniable. I expect him to breakout next year and be a top 3 player for the hawks.

The players they're planning to trade out are those that I do not rate at all but still attracts decent market value
Burton-nothing player
Draft picks, both likely to be in the teens, outside of the range for the big 7/8 this year.

From my perspective when you have options like Hanners/Libba, B Crouch really isn't an option for me. Has all the signs of a trap.
