I read in The Age newspaper today that the Crows asked for pick 13 from the Bulldogs in exchange for Keath and pick 26. Their thinking behind this was for pick 26 to help facilitate a trade with Saints and Bruce. Ain't no way we would ever do that trade. Keath now worth pick 42 at the most given everything.
Yeah sounds like a late 2nd or 3rd rounder now.

"The Western Bulldogs will try to snare Adelaide defender Alex Keath with a third-round pick – not a first-rounder as the Crows had originally hoped – given a lower-shin stress fracture will keep him grounded until at least late January.

"The Age reports that the Bulldogs and St Kilda believed the injury required an operation, while the Crows had planned to manage the issue without taking the surgical route.

"Given Keath is the Crows' responsibility until the end of October, they arranged the surgery and footed the bill for all associated costs.

"Keath had originally intended to go on an overseas holiday but those plans were abandoned when the Bulldogs insisted he go under the knife immediately."

Seems to me that example gives an insight into how Adelaide's medical group is out of step with other clubs' medical groups..

Yeah there’s definitely something to it if they didn’t think he needed surgery but both clubs he visited insisted that he needed it immediately.

1st round pick for a 28 year old that’s played 30 games? I’m starting to think that Im the one that has absolutely no idea what players are worth anymore and not the clubs haha.

Howard to The Roos for pick 8 is gathering a bit of steam. Would hate to see Doogs leave but I reckon that would just about get it done for a contracted player unfortunately.

If we lose SPP and Howard this off season it will be the first time in 17 years that I won’t renew my membership.

Big call there BigRuss. I wonder what Doogs is worth? North give up pick 8 for Doogs and a second rounder? I wouldn't be trading him under any circumstances.

If I’m the one running the club I would have already made the statement that he won’t be traded. End of story. 200cm KPDs with his speed are rare as hens teeth.

I’m so disenchanted with the club that means so much to me at the moment that it almost physically hurts.

This is classic "out of sight, out of mind" stuff. Clearly this bloke can seriously play, but from what I know, I would spew if we gave up pick 8 for him

This is one of those ones where the current club could extract maximum value... both from the trade and from the player while on the list. Mason got them to within a Dom Sheed fantastic of a flag and hasn't done much since. If Essendon want him that badly, late 1st or early 2nd round for a contacted player would be a win imho.
I'm on the fence with Mason Cox. Has he still got improvement in him:unsure:
What I do know is that the Pies lack good quality tall forwards, so, if the Pies have one lined up ready for next year, then sure, trade Cox out. If they don't, then I would be surprised if the Pies let him go.
