We've no doubt payed overs, But gotta go for it I guess while we are firmly in the premiership window. Throw everything at it.

Win a flag in the next couple of years and despite paying overs it will be well worth it.
I read somewhere that although it looks like a lot the picks we’ve given up actually equate to something like pick 1 and 37 (points equivalent)... gotta remember they are late round picks for the most part.. I would give up Pick 1 and 37 in a heartbeat.

Now the recruiters just need to find at least one diamond in the rough with whatever picks we do have left... ;)

Don't do it Adelaide.... GWS just want to get in before a bid on Tom Green who is predicted to go around pick 5, This prop[osed trade would let them jump in before Green... And then take Green with pick 40 and whatever other picks after that are needed to get the points required.

Don't help them out, lol
I'm with you LITS, we need to stop GWS jumping past their academy picks and getting an extra kid in the draft. That being said, Bulldogs have a NGA kid expected to go top 3 in 2020, in Jamarra Ugle-Hagen, so I'm not one to talk lol.

Next years draft is going to be a bloody mess apparently, NGAs and F/S picks making up potentially half the first 40 picks.

It's becoming a bit of a joke the way clubs are getting around this now, GWS & Sydney in particular with their extremely strong Academies. They continuously have these highly rated kids coming through every year, and pull this same trick every year. They keep getting stronger.

Yeah it's going to be a very heavily compromised draft. Think I read that at the State carnival, of the top 50 kids... 20 are already tied to clubs for next year. That is insane.

[joke]I guess these kids could just get drafted by another club and claim homesickness after a year? [/joke]
exactly right , let another club develop them initially and see if they are even up to AFL standard

A few cracks appearing, unlike Richmond where they take pay cuts to stay together, hmmm
Trade Talk saying last night Grundy on a million , JDG & Darcy Moore close to $ 900k (fark me try stringing 22 games together for a start).

Pendles , BBQ must be on a fair amount.

Not sure how much the Salary Cap is these days but if the average wage is $ 300k be interested to know how many books these club accountants are running.

Not much left if 4-6 players are getting close to $ 5 million between them.

Wonder if they still get paper bags on match days ?

Hence trying to flog Cox to the Bombers = $500k out and bring in Jenkins for $200k base, save $300k and get a player that understands the game a bit better.
