Gee Guns n Rookies strategy is going to be a stretch this year

It feels like the mid rookies run deeper then forward or back.

Might need an extra mid rookie on field.

Was the year he won wasn’t it? He was part of SCE when he did it I remember.

I’ve looked at that option this season, was one team I didn’t mind. I’ve 2 rookies both starting on forward and back lines and was more confident early when it looked like plenty of potential with fwd options scoring midfield type points all week - like Kelly, Gray, Mclean, Dunkley among the more popular. Not that confident now.

Might have to tinker and do away with the comfort of my usual starting structure, makes me nervous ?

He didn’t win with that structure but did well still

Was the year he won wasn’t it? He was part of SCE when he did it I remember.

I’ve looked at that option this season, was one team I didn’t mind. I took all my mid pricers out today and was happy with 5 defensive rookies , think that has all gone pear shaped.

Not even sure now if there are 7-8 of the cheap rookies that will make that $ 150,000.00 - $ 180,000.00 profit.

Might be Gawn & Grundy and 20 mid pricers.

Doing my head in , might see what I can do with 3 cheap defenders and forward rookies.

Forward rookies are by far the weakest line in my opinion. Setterfield, Balta and Drew the only ones who actually look decent and the later 2 have very shaky job security.

Same opinion , had Burgess and Parker , hoping for Petrucelle still.

Need at least 2 for the bench that might actually play.

Have no idea at all , might come back next season.

I pencilled in Collins , Clark , Scrimshaw , Duursma , McKay , Hore but even half of them are probably questionable as well.

Depending on how Libba and Roberton line up today will shape my structure maybe. Might have to play a Libba/Brouch or god forbid Rocky at M5 and move Collins to Roberton

It was the year before in 2010, with him winning in 2011. He ended up ranking 724ish from memory.

The year he won his most 'controversial' starting point was not starting Goddard (who was a premium defender that most had that year); the Saints also had the bye in Rd 4.

which I happy with , depending on final mid rookies should be able to add a Sloane/Brayshaw/BCrouch/Rocky

worse comes to worse will just have to take out Danger , Cripps & Fyfe ?

So with Collins forced into lockdown roles potentially all year, do we look elsewhere? Scoring was pretty bad to have on field. Was it just a poor game or reflective of a new role?
