My prediction is

OUT Tomlinson, Mummy, Taranto, Lloyd, Reid, Williams
IN Coniglio, Jacobs, Green, ZGL, Hately, Cummings

Haynes Davis Shaw
Corr Taylor Whitfield
Perryman Kelly Kennedy
Greene Cameron Daniels
Langdon Himmelberg Coniglio
Jacobs Hopper De Boer

Finlayson Hately Green Cummings

ZWilliams to replace Cummings in Round 2/3.

I reckon Ash bides his time in the NEAFL like Hately and Cummings have done in the past.

Green gets a crack in a mainly fwd role but should get stoppage/CB rotations as he’s a great contested player. Pretty much first year Taranto style.
I'm wondering if Ash is more highly rated as that attacking defender to replace Williams should he not get up for round 1, I think this weekend there are a few playing for a spot but I'm not sure Cummings walks in because he's spent time in the NEAFL. A couple of these kids are special and can play and will cause selection headaches early.

If it means anything Ash named on the half back flank..

Gut feeling tells me Ash & Green will play most weeks - Players like Reid etc should get pushed out IMO

Ash named on field is promising for sure. Still I think final spots will be dependent on performance.

Yeah sorry meant highly rated also, I hate this phone auto correct.

But if he's named round 1 I'd still be wary with Williams to potentially come back. Could be a trade in correction before round 3 if he's performing well

I need to see more but Green is talented, so is Hately, so is Ash, so is Caldwell. But at full strength, even without Taranto there is possibly 1 spot. Thats with Ward and Williams back.
It's feasible that all 3 could get short stint at games, maybe 3-4 at a time depending on their performance. I just don't have a lean to any of them so it's hard to even pick any of them to be honest.

I think they need a bit of midfield grunt early on whilst Ward is out of the team, so I guess either Green or Caldwell has more of an opportunity to string some games together if selected for R1. I would prefer only one of them gets name though.

Ben Davis seems likely
Looks like it is him or Crocker for the medium fwd spot...my worry is 4 ordinary games/scores from either and then they are out and the other is in. Either could be a bench option but I hope there are better options SC wise. From a crows perspective I hope we persist with the x factor of Davis as first go

Not necessarily in R1 though?

This is a side with genuine premiership aspirations this year. No greater incentive than playing for the reigning premier.

some1 like hately, cummings, caldwell could lose patience gettin fewer than 6 games in a year . Get enticed away for greater oppurtunity. When they are dominating consistently, good form should get u selected thats always the motto

Maybe but in 2020 they are hunting a flag not looking after us fantasy coaches. Lower teams yeah sure go for youth and build up to their own tilt in future years.

And yes some will lose patience and that’s true but I don’t see them working overtime in 2020 to shore up their 2022 squad.

I was wondering who the 100% rookie "locks" were in terms of playing in R1?

From my understanding:
Locks for R1
Def: Hill, McAsey, Noble, BZT
Mid: Rowell, Pickett
Ruck:
Fwd: King

Fairly close to locks might also be Davis, Budarick and Anderson
