Are people being fairly aggressive with trades this season? I would really love 3 trades this week.
Cannot decide whether to play safe and use one the trades on a back up Ruck eg. Cameron
Or just go ahead with original plans to trade out Greene and Houston. I think Greene has to go but unsure what to do with Houston.
Might just go Greene to Cameron for a week but would mean having King, Sturt & Cameron on field with no back ups

I think Sturt. Can potentially get Cameron next week, but Sturt seems like now or never.
Going by a table posted:
If Sturt gets a 56 this week, price next week $173k
If Cameron gets a 70 this week, price next week $167k

Sturt against Port may struggle if Port are the real deal.
Cameron against Saints, dunno? Grundy injury factor?

Their BEs are -53 and -26, so the above is possible, but seems to rely on Cameron outscoring Sturt by a fair bit (which didn’t happen in their first game - albeit a sample of one).

It wouldn’t surprise me if Grundy smashes out a big score with little support from Cameron, but obviously if Grundy did go down, it would be a huge plus for Cameron’s scoring. I assume everyone would then be looking to trade him in.

It’s possible both rookies beat what they will realistically average in their first game, so I’m inclined to take the one with the better BE and possibly better JS.

Think this is the key for me on this decision. Sturt in my opinion, brings a completely different element to our forward line, that medium sized forward, so I think JS is pretty good going forward.

Cameron I just cant get a read on

Williamson vs. Hamill vs. Kossie Pickett ?

What order would you rank them? Aside from the higher priced Hill and maybe BZT, another other rookie DEFs on the cards for a debut/game over the coming few weeks to help with downgrades?

Just another challenge , trying to find the appropriate downgrade targets at the right time if they even present themselves.

With no clarity on the fixture after Round 5 , we might need them for cover if Bye rounds do in fact eventuate .

1. Williamson - is in Carlton's best 22, and with Newman not around, has fairly strong job security. He is however extremely injury prone, and could go down at any stage. His game in theory would translate to decent scoring - run and carry, decent user of the ball and can take a few marks. His scoring history to date isn't overly impressive, so you are picking on style of play / trust. I am strongly considering him, as don't believe he has had a decent crack at it since his first season and he has potential to knock out a big score if a Docherty type is shut down!
Risks: Defensive lock down role and injuries.

2. Pickett - think he will be best 22. Will play that defensive forward role and likely knock out scores from 30-60. If he can sneak a 3 goal game with 5 tackles at the right time, might get you a handy 80-100 score to maximise cow potential.

3. Hamill appears destined for the lock down defender role, and I haven't seen much scoring potential just yet. I don't trust Adelaide at all! They may well go kids and guarantee him some time, they could also go more mature bodies and try and stop the bleeding?

Who is he replacing? do we think he will play defence or maybe take Macrae's spot on the wing? speedy, endurance, doesn't impact aerial contests, uncontested player - sound the attributes for a wing role.
He is a Bulldog expect his magnet to swing about.
Think they might rotate a couple this week with it being 3rd game in 11 days.
