Deledio saying after the game that he'd tweaked his calf so he came off early as a precaution. Think he'll likely miss 1 week for that early game bump.

Also, to those who were toying with Docherty at one point or another, I wouldn't get too concerned about falling behind. His ownership percentage is only 0.66%.

Anyway, we'll wait and see... probably another year where he hovers around the top 10 - 15 forwards. If he escapes the tag and is allowed to run free then he can do well, but too often he'll be locked out of games unable to break tags. Doesn't seem to have the strength of character to rise to the next level I don't think, might be proven wrong, just my impression of him from his off-field actions, talks and interviews. We'll revisit his scores in a few weeks
As panicked as I feel and disappointed that Docherty was a walk up start until 2 weeks ago.....I have to remember it's a marathon, not a sprint. Stay calm SCS'ers. We'll be okay!
How about this - biggest bonehead mixed with dumbass luck.
In my haste to get away for the weekend, I forgot to check my friggin capt selection and turns out I had the C on McIntosh.
Had no right to dodge that bullet.

For me I have Saad on field with Oxley and McIntosh on the bench. I feel as though Oxley may miss a few games or get dropped so I brought in Hamling for this week, put him on field and Saad on the bench hopeing Hamling would get named soon. Now lets hope Saad doesn't come out and score 120
He will be but not playing round one was a bit tricky to still keep him in your SC team.
I had him in the night before Geelong played Carlton in last NAB Cup game. It was my first genuine look at what rookies looked him being there for round one that weekend. After the game was very happy to have good intentions of keeping him as there did not appear too many defense rookies showing up but once he was not named for round one I was not willing to keep. If he plays at a time that does not help me in SC then not much point. But he will play for Carlton in games this season for sure. Malthouse is only one who really knows when.
I'm 50/50 atm. I have been going through a few ideas in the last hour, like a floating donut or trying to pick a player who is not playing this week but should shortly.
Anyway I suppose this will pre occupy my thoughts tomorrow.
Just got back from neighbours having a couple Easter beers, opened Footy Info app and saw Dusty on 149 SC points. You bloody beauty!!! I've got the VC on him. Then realised it was from a previous NAB game, bugger.
