I do have McAsey in my team, the line of thinking on "intercept defenders" has helped with that selection for sure!
From the Prospectus:
- McAsey was the No.1 rated KPP in the NAB AFL U18C, leading all KPDs for disposals, marks, intercept possessions and intercept marks.
- Played four games as KPD in the NAB League and averaged 2.5 intercept marks and 7 intercept possessions.
- Also played as a forward for three games in the NAB league.
Some concern that he gets used as a KPF which would be terrible for his scoring, but I think the Crows brought in Frampton so McAsey should stay in defence. The flexibility might help his JS however.
