@Bermi

Are you still tracking Houston's scores with both Rockliff & Wines playing ?
I got Houston in recently temporarily, to boost my score, to replace McAsey. I was hoping Houston could have a good run, scored 95 last round, but now back to low scoring :(.
As long as Rockliff plays (or injuries to PTA's Mids), it looks unlikely that Houston will play midfield.
With my new addition of Stewart, Houston is now my D6 and when an opportunity arrives, I will trade him out.

North Melb.
I traded in Houston after his first two tons and have got 107, 67, 95 and 66 (84 ave) for $450k.
Barely value for money really but only 25pts off a 90 average which I would have taken happily.

I mean he's no Callum Mills, who came in at $476k the week before and has averaged 111 since! :p

Averaging 87 so I guess if you can get him up to someone averaging 105 it might be worth a trade (that would be a extra 18 points per game so a extra 100+ season)

I have a number of players myself in the 80-89 mark and just wondering if their is much point upgrading them now that we are in Round 10 if it's only for say a extra 100 points for the rest of the season.

Or perhaps using the money to try and solidify my D7 , M9 , F7.

Do you still have Rivers in your mids to provide the DPP link with Houston if necessary.

Watching last night I was thinking to myself which club makes a offer for Lipinski and/or McLean given their lack of CBA now that Dunkley is back.

If the Doggies were smart they should recruit a gun ruckman for a season or 2 and just allow English to play as a old fashioned (albeit taller) RR/Winger and not worry about attending centre bounces ruck contests.

His link up play and ground level ability is amazing.

If an opportunity, like a Stewart appears, then yes upgrade.

Depends what your strategy is, like if you want to 'play safe', of go for 'all or nothing'.

If you think your team can earn 100 pts extra by ugrading, then that sounds positive.

Yes, but the opposite would be ideal. If Houston was in my midfield and Rivers in defence, then that would be good, but I don't need Houston in my midfield.

I think my strategy is very dependent on SC giving us more trades 😀

Just finalising my Round 10 trades and looking into my 2 upgrades for Round 11 so once that is organised , I will need to get the calculator out again.

Defence and Mids will be as good as I can get it at this stage.

R2 and Forwards are a work in pprogres though.
