Silly @Connoisseur only realised that we have 3 available trades next round instead of 2 this morning when the question was posed.

Had the opportunity to finally grab Neale to replace Simpson but decided against it due to being unable to afford the Williams selection with only 2 trades next week, instead selecting Fyfe to replace Starcevich.

Watch out Fyfe owners as he is bound to score below 85.

I finally pulled the trigger on two trades at 6.05 PM, with an element of panic as my Dees players to lock out 5 minutes later.

Bennell > Schoenberg
Viney > Titch

Budarick to Jack Steven is very tempting, would do it if I had confidence he would play 6 out of the next 7. Just feel like the way he has been managed thus far, he might miss up to 3 of them. If any cats fans have some thoughts on this, please do tell!

I’m seriously considering Sier as well.

How secure do you reckon his spot in the 22 is? And what do you expect him to average?
First I rate Sier>Wills. He's a better inside contested player. Wills had his opportunity and didn’t do enough for mine. Now it’s Siers turn and with Treloar out I feel he has really good JS for the next month+. I can see a 90 average which is great for his price.

I was holding off the same as you with trading bennell to schoenberg just hoping I would get some news.
Already had titch so bought in Fyfe for budarick with much trepidation but wanted a true A grader that already had a bye and came down to him or Zerrett.
I thought about steven but I have the same concerns as you. Geelong have always been good at managing players and have shown that he is on their list as a priority to manage although he did look a bit fitter last game.

Thanks mate. I tend to agree re Sier over Wills ... Sier’s had some issues in the past and I wonder whether that’s kept him out rather than his ability at times.

Equally it appears Sier is preferred at the moment so if he plays well and keeps out of trouble hopefully he can make some good cash at M8.

JSteven on my radar too. Want to see one more game of CB rotations before committing though!

Ended up yolo’ing Parfitt to Petracca who saluted with a lazy 160.

Wasn’t sure if Parfitt would be named so took a punt. Not upset with the end result but would’ve felt more vindicated if Parfitt wasn’t named.

Also did Bennell/Birchall to Watson/Schoenberg. $200k ITB for next week.

So I only made the one trade this round:
Bennell --> Schoenberg

Kept McKay who surprisingly did pretty well again (68) to get a little bit more cash gen. Only $134k in bank atm but looking in to bring in Petracca next round. Very expensive but don't wanna wait anymore for his price to fall.

Also I've got a big regret now that I didn't go for him at the start of round 4. Back then he was priced at around 490k but I instead went for Simpkin (who was around 480k) probably cuz I thought Simnpkin's BE was low and if I didn't get him at the time then it would've been too hard to later on. For two rounds it looked to be the right decision. But not anymore. Hindsight's a wonderful thing huh...

Just noticed something sweet, if you are like me and have one trade left this week, you can wait until Wednesday night and know for certain if Wicks is playing before GCS/Dons rookies lock out.

Thinking I might go Hibberd/Budarick to Wicks if their services are not required on field. Nice little head start going into round 12.
