Change of mind (unlike me)

As much as I would like Heeney as my Dangerfield replacement , I think he then limits my forward line going forward (would be 3 premium + Heeney + JZ + Rookie) so no room if I need McDonald/Warner or target Dangerfield , Marshall , Sidebottom for example as future targets.

Could move F/M premiums to the mids but I think that's the wrong move.

So will go instead :-

Dangerfield - > Mitchell

leaves me with Cripps @ M6 so 2 of Gulden/Berry/Powell onfield each round
Changed my mind again , going to back myself this year (rightly or wrongly)

Dangerfield - > Mitchell before last night's game

Mitchell - > Heeney (via Campbell) just now

lo and behold , 1 trade left 😀

who would've thought , could knock me over with a feather 🤗

Should I trade one of Cahill/McNeil to one of Berry/Jordon this week, in case I need an extra trade next week? Or should I just watch them both again this week and hope nothing else comes up if I use both trades to grab them both next week?
I think you’re assessing it in the right way. The two big factors seem to be the likelihood of you “needing” those 3 trades next week versus the likelihood of potentially regretting whatever trade you make this week to facilitate the 3 over 2 rounds.

Berry “only” scored 59 so I wouldn’t think he’s a must at this stage, albeit I gather his role was good. Both have some JS threats, albeit Harmes out may assist.

Unless you have your eye on a specific third trade, I probably wouldn’t feel compelled to do one of them this round.

If you wanted to trade a failing pick out (let’s just say a Cripps type - although I plan to hold him), you can always do Cripps to Jordon ... ie you can actually fulfil 4 needs with 2 trades, so long as it’s 2 you need to get in and 2 you need to get out.

I preferred your Mitchell option personally, but both trade ins look like good options.

So does that trade someone in, then trade the person you traded in to someone else really work? I thought once Danger had played your trade was locked in!

Can afford to wait imo. Can also afford to wait until 5PM teams to see if McNeil is named, otherwise can grab Jordon early potentially.
Definitely wait. A 80 odd score from the previous two and it’s a wasted trade.

Great responses, thanks heaps. I reckon I'll keep the trade this week and see how things play out. Ask me again in 8 hours though :ROFLMAO:

Might leave Mitchell to next week depending if I move Cripps on or not.

Need to look at Hickey , Jordon , S Martin , McDonald , Warner & L Young this round + I might find myself a value M8 already.

Or since I backed my 4 rookie Rucks from the start , I ride them all the way.

Good luck, whatever you decide. I think my best ever round result is 458th which was way back in 2014, so with a top 60 last round, you clearly have me covered, and I'd back your choice in over mine.

Cheers , I am sure the SC gods will realise I am not worthy of that ranking , so will quickly be down to about 60,000 th soon enough 😀

I did enjoy my ranking of 60 though.

Just worried (already) about some of my bench rookies not generating enough $$$ , so I guess just have to cross that bridge when it comes.

All week I was going to trade Grundy to free up cash to upgrade Rowell to Titch, but at the last minute decided not to.Decided to keep Gawndy because I find it a real headache wasting trades to upgrade Ruckmen, and wanted set and forget.
It’s only taken 10 years of Supercoaching to resist making impulsive decisions.
Having said that, Neale could be on the chopping block this week.
Now I’m limited by cash (Rowell),as to who I can trade in. Trying to decide between B. Smith and Sloane.
Despite his durability issues, I think I’ve settled on Sloane,( need a bigger sample size from Smith) who is 20k cheaper than Rowell. Has a high ceiling, but can also put in an average one. Trying to stick to the buy low ,sell high mantra.
Next week Neale becomes Titch and pocket 100k,happy days !
In theory anyway.
Thanks for listening/reading.

Anyone going early on Jordon if McNeil is dropped? Especially those coaches with Flynhuntereek.

No. Not unless any of my other rookies are also dropped this week and so far so good on that front.

Anyone think it’s worth trading Brockman to a donut to grab Grundy VC and Campbells 118?

Only Downie not playing out of my 30, is it worth going to Jordan ? Do we think he keeps his spot ?
Not fussed about floating donut, would rather make cash.

Thinking Tyson to treacy.

Currently have gawn vc and no donut. If gawn is smashing it ill probably do it. Frees cash for next week to give me options with dow and sharp. Gives me an option to bring in Marshall for Flynn later and have a link. And treacy may end up playing. Thoughts?
