They should actually give the scores for that double round to whoever started with Melbourne + Bombers players before the announcement.

What it they didn’t let anyone trade in any Essendon or Melbourne players until after the DGR? Would that make it fairer for owners? Not perfect as It would be unfair for those who had them in their original trade plans though.

Was stuck on the pine for the last 6-7 mins because no goals

So frustrating, players can easily get stuck on the pine for majority of a quarter when there's reduced scoring and shorter quarters.

That's interesting , the commentary on the radio I was listening to see he was getting ongoing work on his hamstrings and hips and they put the queue in the rack.

A few questions:

1. if 11 midfielders are part of your best 18 scores will all 11 get counted or only the best 8 out of the 11?
2. If you forgot to set an emergency on a player and he's part of one of your best 18 scores then will that score still get counted?

Ditto and Likewise. 6 on the field and Bennell with an (E) for midfield bench. Finally get a good start to SC and then this. It's like this year is cursed! Or MFC is cursed... or I'm cursed!

who is to say if it is 2 games in 5 days that Gawn & co even play both matches ?

might be resting/rotations/limited game time etc etc

Have to feel for the decision makers here, people were going to complain no matter what they decided. Tough situation.

Yeah with such short notice and the information released half way through the round there really wasn’t much they could do

I would assume you’d need emergency on your bench players in order for them to count towards go scores

Honestly it does help out those with Whitfield, Cameron, Taylor who have scored nothing this week, but for those that have sufficient coverage, it’s unlucky (and also unfortunate for those that don’t have E on playing/have played players)

I think just a crap situation all and all. I’m unsure they’ll even have double points (as people will definitely exploit it). They might just have it as a dead rubber with points not counting at all

That sounds fairer... But we don't know when this make-up game is going to take place... Some of those missing players this round might not even play both games in that double round.

Not to mention the advantage $$$ wise teams that don't have many MEL or ESS players get as their players get price rises this round where my players can't. When a major part of this game is generating cash... Coaches like me are now at a severe disadvantage cash gen wise as well now.

Yeh that part sucks about the price rises. I'm on both end's good and bad with Viney/Rivers/Truc.
