For all those looking at bringing in Walker, how long are you looking at keeping him? Very unlikely he maintains his current scoring level, but if he keeps getting 100+, does that change things?
Probably more a 105 guy for mine, not going to help that they don't have a Ruckman and will go without Shiel long term and no Caldwell for probably a month.
I remember when Shiel was out for a few games back in 2019, Parish got the gig as the extractor for the 2 games and his clearance stats went through the roof, be interesting to see if this happens again.
Cripps with a 5 round 130 average?? Not sure we've watched the same Cripps the last two weeks. He is so far away from a 130 game, let alone a 5 round 130 average.
Unless the Patrick Cripps from 2018 has time travelled forward 3 years, killed his future self, taken his place and laces up his boots for the next 5 rounds, I would say you are spot on, no way is this current Cripps pumping out a 5 round 130 ave LOL.

Maybe some rookies come in but I would think that the Bombers need to replace experience in the middle with experience. Perish/McGrath/Heppell more inside time?
@Bomber18@Philzsay@pizza safety Might be the guys to ask about how the Bombers structure up now to Replace Shiel and Caldwell.
Daniher-Walker is something I'm weighing up, dont think Daniher can play much better than that 2nd half and still only got to 77, will get alot better defender this week aswell.
I'm not sure why that is a problem.
If you really believe those moves will help improve your season, then having no cash left is just a minor inconvenience.
Might just hold the second one, but really want to boot Cripps. I can’t really get to anyone more expensive than him, so would have to take an Impey type and bank some cash to use over the following weeks. Don’t love it.

I have this dilemma as well. In the end I think I will stick with Daniher. My rationale is that Daniher only needs one decent score to move his price up significantly and even if he averages 75 he’ll make roughly $80-100k. Whilst I think Tex could make almost $200k if things go well, it’s not enough extra cash to justify the extra trade.
If I was holding Caldwell, then Tex makes sense as a cash grab, otherwise it’s hard to justify getting him IMO.

I think Tex is due for a downer, he may get little respect from the higher ranked teams, but the lesserlights will put some work into him, Collins this week will be tough, Mckay at Marvel might be a challenge then Freo at home will be a great game.
edit- he will make you cash, just depends how much your expecting
I'm in the same situation. Going Caldwell to one of these 2. Do we think Impey is now a keeper with the role change? Both going to go up around 50K with The Chad at his average of 82 & Impey with his average of 94.

Yes Definately gets more attention next few weeks from DEF line coach. But his lead to the ball is fantastic.
I am still undecided on who to bring in.
1. Atkins / reckon he is top 10 FWD by years end.
2.Impey / essential at rookie price and role looks ok.?
3.Walker / potential cash return looks too good to ignore.
Definately 2 trades this week to set up the next 4-5 weeks of cash generation and points.

Atkins is an interesting one, had him last year as a pressure half forward, role change suits, not sure he has Tex's ceiling if your comparing. Impey was in and out of my side preseason, decided against it, due to injury concerns in my forward set up, Daniher, Fantasia, Impey etc. Anyway go with your gut, I'm holding slow burners atm, it's a long season and things change quick a la Patty Cripps.

Yes will help my season rank 2995 just if I need to do a trade within one trade next might limit my options or if I get a injury but I like the combo if nor dunks can be Brayshaw.
