There are 2 things about his B/E's.
Firstly, his B/E this week is closer to 76, SC Gold is using the wrong factor in calculationg them, as I showed in Jay's last article.
Secondly, they are, as you know, calculated week to week. SC Gold have him scoring 123, and 117 in the next 2 weeks.
If he scores 90 this week, I calculate that his "real" B/E next week will be around 100.
Yes, he will rise in price a little from here in all probability, which is why I said close to his maximum. But as Jay suggested, he is getting to a Midfield type price, and it would be folly to think he will keep scoring at a Premium Midfield rate.
Don't pay for a Ferrari, and receive a Mustang.

I agree he won't keep scoring at this rate. But I think he is a top 6 defender. I still think it will be a while before he is back at his starting price. He has a good draw. I don't think every upgrade should solely be decided on price and value. If you wait for too many players to be at bottom price then you could be bringing in players out of form to which there are then better options who would be over priced because they are in form lol. I think if you think he is a top 6 defender then consider him now. I am worried about him hitting a 70 personally so,haven't traded him in. But if I was to trade him in it would be now not when he is out of form lol.

He is priced so high obviously because he is in form, and its not like he has had an easy draw. You could do a lot worse then bringing in birchall this week IMO. You could bring in a mid for that price. But it comes down to your whole team. Wen you have wines and omeara in your team they are more reliable than Heath and pittard in def. I think that's why people are trying to move quick on a def upgrade. We basically all have the 3 port rookies who could stagnate at the 250/300k mark where as we have more faith that a wines or omeara can get to 450k and upgrade them easier. Will be interesting to see how is price goes. I have no doubt now in me standing up for him he will get 70 and 55 the next two weeks. Meaning I'm bringing in buddy lol

I would suggest there is another, and possibly even more!
Grimes from Melbourne has 7 scores over 100 in his last 12 games, and has averaged 103 in that time. Being priced at $475k makes him a much better option than Watts, I would have thought.

Originally I was looking at Stevenson to birchall and viney to Evans.

I'm now exploring something very different.

Help me brainstorm here. Neade to walker, walker or Hawkins which allows me to go Stevenson to grimes or enright

Or bring in buddy, downgrade a mid to Evans which leaves me 230k the a downgrade and upgrade again next week with Docherty on the bubble. So it would probably be a port def to Docherty and Dwyer to a premium fwd.

Bit sympathetic to this view as a Mundy holder. Always coasting. usually great disposal but made a bad clanger last quarter. Problem is I already have an underhelming Murphy in my side too. Might use some cash to trade Mundy to a Watson or Kennedy type.
