I have Cripps, Mitchell, Macrae, Oliver & Dangerfield as my mid premos. Thinking of either copping donut and getting Treloar next week or bringing in J.Kelly or Fyfe this week, not sure what to do. Thanks heaps for your input.
No worries - Merrett, Parker and Bont similar-ish picks but not quite as good as Oliver in my view. Could also warehouse a M-F like Simpkin, Whitfield, Dusty there for a period without having to pick a premo you’re not happy with.

Want to bring in one of the following for Rowell?

Parker vs Lloyd vs Yeo (with 100k change)

Very torn here. Parker gets that solid 105-110 week in week out. Lloyd clearly the number 1 def, just as consistant but that higher ceiling and Yeo, well everyone else is.

Thoughts?

Lloyd if it gets a poor rookie off the field; Same for your mid decision (Parker)

I would either go the route of top premo in lloyd for your defence, or take the value the Yeo offers over Parker in the mids IMO

Noble to Laird done.

Now need to decide who i trade Rowell to.

I see everyone talking Yeo but no mention of Coniglio, is there a reason for this?

Yeo price 479k, average 83 but last 2 seasons 107, 107. This season 57,110,71,59,121 so 2 premo scores & 3 poor scores
Cogs price 493k, average 93 but last 2 seasons 108, 101(injury affected) This season 114,111,87,49,103. Three premo scores, 1 ok score, 1 poor score

Ideally would wait for Cogs to drop more in price due to high breakeven and possible tag this week but most likely double downgrade next week and then prob need another defender so it really comes down to picking one and missing the other.

Who do you think will average more for the rest of this season if you could only have 1?

I reckon most aren’t looking at cogs because he’s been playing a fair bit in the forward line, much more than anyone expected.

I do recall seeing him attend some CBA last week though but not sure if that was more than previous weeks.

The thing about Cogs playing forward though is that GWS came out before the season started and said he would play more forward than mid so I can't understand why people are so surprised.

True no surprises here but didn’t think it would be that much forward. I swear the other week he spent the whole game forward (unlikely).

Bit of a morale dilemma going on between Menegola and Yeo. My two trades are looking like:

Budarick & Rowell OUT
Aarts & Menegola IN

Ranked 142 overall, very excited about how I’ve gone so far and I’ve never really gone with the pack and like having some PODs. Yeo is perhaps the safer pick however I’ve got this big urge to pick Menegola after watching him play on the weekend/ hunch I have! Leaves me 140 odd thousand in the kitty. Another downgrade next week and I can look towards upgrading Pittonet/ Starcevich/ Smith.
Well done on the Menegola pick.

Agreed. Lloyd would almost be a certain lock in for top 6 defenders (provided no injuries) whereas Parker & Yeo are questionable (even for top 10 mids)

If I had to pick one out of Cogs & Yeo, I’d pick Yeo. Too many like for like’s in the GWS midfield that would steal each other’s points (Ward, Kelly, etc etc) not to mention Taranto’s imminent return. Yep couldn’t possibly play any worse than he has the first few rounds so you’d hope he’s got that out of his system.

Would it be possible to downgrade and wait for extra cash so you can go up to Mitchell/Treloar/Boak/Parker types?

He spent the bulk of the first three quarters as an ineffective and disinterested small forward while Greene was up running on the ball.

Moved into the midfield a bit more in the last quarter (I think after an injury or two) and still looked disinterested. Really poor game from a captain.
