I would consider trading Ceglar if I didn't have any issues - one more week of him not playing solo ruck and I will be just about done with him. Am hoping Bailey Smith can be the obvious get out option there once he has lost some cash.

I think your trades look solid BTW
I think potentially Mumford's size was a bit of an issue for Ceglar, which is why McEvoy did a fair bit of the rucking? He also came off with a busted finger half way through the 3rd quarter which might've played a part in moving him out of the play?

As you say, I would fix him if I didnt have any other issues. at this stage, he is about problem number 10 on my list of things to fix! haha

Is that Ceglar with the busted finger? Do you think he is likely to miss any games because of it?

Yes Ceglar

I dont know the nature or severity of it. Just showed footage of him going off with the blood rule then him on the bench having a bloody finger taped up...couldn't have been too bad if he played out the game

Unfortunately he is probably closer to problem number 20 on my list after last week.

Definitely should be in consideration for moving on, but much bigger problems for me.

Heap of "under valued" players on the radar in the next few weeks , eg : -

Hurn , Ridley
Menegola , Whitfield , Yeo
Bazlenka , Dusty

couple of rookies appearing to facilitate 1 down , 1 up

map yourself out a trade plan and approach it with some confidence , might actually surprise yourself with the outcome with a positive approach ?

All have a high BE and are primed for the chop.

Unfortunately, also have Noble, Brander & Bennell clogging up the team.
Would be great if one or more got a game next week so I can chop 2 of the high BE cows.

What to do with Rowell? My inner voice tells me to trade him out because after a single digit score his price will plummet maybe $100k like Whitfield. Also he will take a week or two to come right after he returns possibly with lower scores while he gains confidence.
Is anyone else of the same mind?

Fyfe reported (on Channel 7) as very likely to play this week.

Could be a massive bonus for those that held him (and hopefully he gets 140+ ?)

Note to self: don’t trust Freo’s player injury timeframes, absolutely garbage - looking at you Sturt ?

I think those BEs are manageable. Of course they need a chop soon, but I’m ok with going another week with them (if they can reciprocate!).
