I know alot are staying clear of Ablett but you'd have to think he's value at 585k. If he can still score 200+ (even though Kangas rarely tag) it still shows he's a worthy consideration to be traded in, especiall given how other premiums like JPK & Hannerbery haven't hit the greatest heights. Gazz actuall 34k cheaper than his starting price too so i'll be trading him in (for Parfitt). Hannerberry also good value and Dusty too imo.

I think now that he has pulled out the double ton he has to be considered by any team that doesn't have him becuase he CAN stil go large, even if it not every week or every 2nd week. The only issues would be his bye in Round 9 and his durablity/motivation may not be what it once was.

However he still has risks - risk averse coaches would prefer to spend $620k for a higher likelihood of 16 more games versus possibly 8-12 for GAJ, or get 16 games at 5ppg less for the same price as GAJ.

Cheers mate, my backline is Docherty, Laird, Rance - will be keen to get Roberton and H Shaw in with whoever I get this week, then pick whoever is the next best option whenever I cop a 3+ weeker later on.

Hence I will have to crunch the numbers to see if I may be able to do Option 1 (perhaps Marchbank to McD), then cull Hampton for H Shaw next next week while he is still cheap but if not no biggie.

Due to taking Hardwick last week, I don't like the constraints trading in two forward only players puts on my team...so i have to choose one of Parsons/Black to trade Parfitt to...I choose Parsons...this allows me to loop Hardwick and Parsons also....

Second trade...I have decided to hold Beams, going to trade Newman to EVW...gives me bench cover, gets rid of another round 11 player and means I no longer have to deal with Longmire's dislike for Newman, means I can also loop EVW with Ottens/Hampton...will upgrade Beams next week with 500k I will have in my kitty

Parfitt/Newman > EVW/Parsons

Mate i am up against you in the SCS western derby league.... you are clearly playing against a genuis because I just logged in to my team today, and NO IDEA how this happened but all my Emergency's have been cleared (probably operator error who knows) and I now have Hampton on the bench, no E on him, with Newman on the field. having already spent 2 trades to ensure no donuts this week there is stuff all I can do about it and am now guaranteed a big fat jam filled donut unless newman is a late late miracle in!

Guys, I'm a massive idiot. I waited until late to trade Parfitt, and I got distracted and I still have Parfitt and a 0 up forward. The only way I can avoid a doughnut is to trade Cameron to a forward. Should I do it? (Next week I'll most likely trade Parfitt to R3 swinging Nank bank.)
