Still time.

Remember being excited for his debut , 5 minutes later he did his AC joint.

I'm not saying Martin has been a bad player but just think we have to temper our expectations on a skinny kid like Rankine entering a field full of blokes who dedicate themselves to being as strong and fast as they can.

Fully agree with your comments , I hate how they label all these young kids as future stars before they play but

Debuted as a 16 yo in the SANFL , played 23 games at that level , second year in the system so at 20 his body maybe a bit more hardened.

2017 & 2018 record at the U18 championships speak for himself (only from what I have read and seen on highlights , don't watch any games)

When he gets compared to McLeod it gets my attention , mind you Fogarty was labelled as the next Plugger as well.

Anyone I am excited that he is finally about to debut.

Day and Simpson passed the eye and scoring test...they look too good to pass up. Plenty in the bank then for a double upgrade the next week.

The big decision for me is do i ride out Ceglar or boot him...obviously i want to boot him like any owner would. I think the sensible decision is to ride it out unless he gets dropped. He is capable of 100 plus scores this season so I don't want to lock in a loss if I have enough cash to upgrade around him.
I’m erring the same way on Ceglar. After next week will have already played by far the best three rucks, which should mean his draw opens up. He was terrible last night, but up against Grundy.

Agree with this discussion.

I think he has gone from mid 70s kg to low 80s though, so he’s around the “right” weight for his height (albeit shorter and therefore lighter than many). One possible upside to his bad injury run.

Yeah to be honest, he’s potentially a trade in target for me at 380-400k and having already played Gawn/Grundy/Goldy. Role sharing with McEvoy a concern to monitor tho!

Could be a straight swap from Doedee to Hurn if this plays out. Could look pretty appealing if Hurn shows signs of coming good.
Prefer trading out a Starcevich/Noble/etc to Hurn, hopefully costing less than $150,000 to potentially allow them to be looped later in the season at D6.

That could be handy. Might be possible in this format, fortunately I have most of the very top scorers so I could be a chance to have some loop options if the cards fall the right way.
