Did you know that if you go into McDonalds and use the computer to order, you can customize your hamburger to remove the buns, burger patty, onions and sauce to have just a pickle left over.

I was at McDonalds with a mate when he decided to try this to see what would happen. They presented the pickle in a Big Mac box which we thought was pretty funny. Not sure if that is standard procedure when a customer orders a single pickle or if the staff at this particular outlet had a sense of humour.

Either way, that is what my team is. It comes in a fancy Big Mac box, it looks like 2350 points. But then you open it to get stuck into that burgery goodness and delicious Big Mac special sauce but all you find is a single pickle. So much promise but my players can't put together a solid performance lately.

My team is a pickle in a box.
Absolutely brilliant response...(y)

I think my team is just the box the way I'm going, I don't even get the pickle. But even that may be wishful thinking. I think on second thoughts maybe my team IS the pickle, one that's been thrown onto a wall by someone that didn't like the taste of it and it's stuck there for weeks, because the kids working in the shop are too lazy to clean it off.

The month old fries down the side of my kid’s car seat.
So deliciously crunchy...

Not keen on McDonald's, but understand the burger analogy.

My team this week is a burger from the local joint. You go there because the price is reasonable, they seem to use fresh oil and it's only 7 mins from home. Nowhere near as good as that burger you tasted on holidays last summer, the one you ate on the beach while watching the sun go down. But it is a fair bit nicer than the one you bought at 3am from Mr Yummies food van on that bucks night four years ago, you know the one, it gave you stomach cramps and a bad case of the...

Real mixed bag this week 2,186 Gawn (C), Sam Simpson to go only.

Considering I did a double down of sorts this week McInerney to Simpson and Brander to Georgiades, hopefully the damage will not be to great.

8 scores 118 or over, 7 scores under 60.

Hopefully Simpson can go higher than Pickett on the bench with 60 :)

I really thought I was going to go close to win the $1000 with:
Macrae 169, Kelly (C) 195x2= 390, Lloyd 157, Sicily 164, Gawn 157, Neale 152, Gaff 130, Whitfield 116 ,
but I had too many low scores and rookies:
Curtis Taylor 37, Doedee 30 and 5 other rookies between 58 and 66 points ,plus Grundy 61.
Still 2339 with Bewely to come.
I looped in Hibbard 84 and put Simpson on the bench so I'm hoping Simpson has a stinker!
