If anyone cares, I'm bringing in Gawn. English may turn into Dean Cox, but I would rather remove that POD from my team.

Have an idea of trades for the next 3-4 rounds,. I would love to know the fixtures and byes for R13 on, but will have to just roll with the punches.

Like most SuperCoach teams, I am trading in a forward.
Would you recommend trading in Bailey Smith and save 100k or Petracca and get an extra round of scoring?
I'm in the same boat, wanting to bring in both, but can only get 1 this week. Petracca @ $544k is almost getting too expensive for a FWD for me, so my logic is that, if I wait 1 week for him, I won't want to bring him in next week (when he'll likely go up another $20k (give or take)).

Conversely, if Smith (@ $409k) goes up $20k (give or take) this week, I'll still be more than happy to pay $430k for him next week.

I know, logically it's the same spend over 2 weeks, but I can easily see myself skipping Petracca next week if he's around $565k, so I'll probably get him first.

with the additional trades I am considering a sideways of Simpkin. 1 week can turn into 2 with ankles and with the position the Kangas are in at the moment it would need to be a no risk approach to a player like him. Not sure who I would trade to but looking for somebody who has a low B/E (potentially Higgins)
Can it be that serious? He played out the game last week.

You would not think so but it is not like they gave him until the last minute this week. The call seems to have been made 4 days before the game is played so that has raised my eyebrows a little.

Also is Simpson a must have? I have 5 or 6 rookies all between the 220 to 300 k mark to trade down, preferably to new ones that will be around come SC finals. I understand the need for cash generation but he may with a bad game or 2 just become another of those that isn't around when I need him. Should be fresh meat coming through most weeks from now on. And I'm thinking that Rounds 17 and 18 will be full rounds with no byes that will need reasonable bench cover. I know we have extra trades but I still seem to burn through them anyway. AS i'm 3-4 in my 2 most important leagues I need points on the board and could do 2 upgrades this week.

With trades popping up like mushrooms, I might be a little more patient and target "super premiums" and pay a little extra and hope they start performing appropriately.
That's what I'm doing. Had been umming and ahing over Goldy v English, but now I think I'll just get Gawn.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I listened to this podcast which Maxy was the guest for last night, during which he confidently proclaimed he would win the Brownlow this season (tongue in cheek... but also not). I like that.

Think I'll bring in Will Day for Starc. can't afford to lose any more cash on Starc and Day will be given a good run I reckon.

Only way I can get B.Smith is to trade D.Smith - and while that seems like a good trade in the short term, Devon has already had his "bye". I don't know... (Rumour is he got a bit of a rocket from the coach(es) for his lack of discipline after last weeks game.)

Perhaps another rookie this week, but they're pretty thin. Just unsure who:
DEF: Eggman looks good but a little pricey. If he holds Houli's spot for a while, could be worth it though.
MID: Sam Mayes looks good but iffy JS.
FWD: Weightman had a good debut, but probably a slow burner, and you never know what the coach is going to do.

Any (other) suggestions?

I wouldn’t be rushing to get him, he didn’t get near the ball in the first half before junk time last week

I would trade out Devon Smith he's only scoring 60 to 70.

Does anyone else have Rozee?
He's dropped so much in price ($330,000) that I might as well keep him but if he's out with injury I might trade.

Devon is killing himself with clangers and frees against, last week was -20, the previous week was -36. If he can clear that up he is good for 90+ from here which is fine for an F6, that said he is one tweek away from another soft tissue injury in a compressed fixture so I wouldn't be too critical of trading him out for someone better like a Greenwood type.

Initially penning:
Starc -> Rampe
Pittonet -> R'oB

But have since cooled off as RoB still faces grundy + gawn

Anyone going anything similiar?

Rozee got absolutely smashed in the head during a real wet patch ... Think it was against the lions and he hasn't looked good or scored well since. I'm going to look at him as soon as he hits a ton. I'm likely going to bounce sympkins too. I don't know what's going on with North injuries, but they are all over the shop. Are they the team with that really old doctor??? Ideally, Simpkins and a non paying rookie out for me today for Smith and someone else. Thinking I'd love a Greenwood or danger, but... Maybe rooky oops seem to be evaporating be horizon and so might need to grab Simson for some cash Gen.

Thoughts?
