You don't like Clark - > Daniel/May option.

In a season where $$$ are hard to come by grab the value players when the opportunity presents itself.

Post your team if you wish too.
Dont have enough cash for a Chapman/Clark >Daniel/May trade, would love to do it though.

When i have a free moment ill post it👍

I like the outside the box thinking.

What led to the spike score? @GrainFedBeef @Lost In The Sky @Rumbler any ideas guys? I noticed he was getting about 5 touches a game until last week where he got 21. Role change or just an outlier?
Awesome, thanks so much for the response LITS. I might pass on that one for now.

Let's hope for a Foley debut!
@Lost In The Sky and @GrainFedBeef have pretty much echoed what I would've said.

I was surprised he got such a score over the weekend but looking at his heat map he spent more time running through the midfield and got a lot more touches than usual. But that WCE vs. Freo match was one of the most open games I've seen all year. It felt like there was hardly any tackle pressure applied in the midfield from either team! It's like "yea here you go have the ball and do whatever you want" lol

I think against better teams with better defensive setups he won't score as well unless he kicks a bag of goals. Sensible decision to pass as he'd be a risky pick with not much potential for reward. There's better options for you to spend your trades on!

Now that Fred is out, does Keane become an option for a rookie in?

I just noticed I've got the cash to go Cox to May and Rowe to Hall.

The Hall pick comes with obvious risk but I'm more concerned about having all of JZ, Atkins, Impey and Hall on the same line in the first bye... I reckon that's way too much compromise in round 12. I guess I could take the $ increase from Atkins and Hall and cash out whichever one looks the least likely to be a keeper by that stage. Thoughts on this?
Hall is someone you trade in if you really don’t like yourself very much. Be mindful of your bye structure, especially with premiums. Rounds 13 and 14 have the potential to really mess you up.

Hall actually works from a bye perspective given most of us are light on Rd12

F Macrae out means a donut for me, not that that's much worse than Macrae. Worth going early on Poulter/Owies instead of Murphy to avoid a donut?

$220,600 ITB (21 trades left (before any this week)

Stewart, L Ryan, Laird, Short, Duggan, Chapman (Mansell, Highmore)

Macrae, Oliver, Merrett, J Kelly, Taranto, Powell, Jordon, Robertson(Scott, Berry, Sharp)

Gawn, Grundy (Flynn)

Zeibell, Martin, Walker, Impey, Warner, Bergman(Rowe, Fullarton)

Some serious concerns about how long Ryan will be out. Walker is a problem, but not as big as Chapman and L Ryan.

Thinking, I might just cut my losses on Ryan after only getting one game out of him saddly.

Thinking:

L Ryan to Lloyd
Champan to May/Daniel

Getting Lloyd means the big miss is Ridley, but may be able to do something around the byes with Duggan if possible.

Any other thoughts?
Well it looks like given today's events I have no choice but to take the value options:

Duggan and Chapman to May and Daniel

Will leave around 100k to work on getting Ridley over the coming weeks.

Laird will have to go to the MID, maybe permanently and will probably close the door Lloyd, but you get that.

Farewell to Flynn with Warner staying and Rowe relegated to the bench. RCD will be looped with A Scott via F Macrae.
Out: M Flynn and H Chapman
In: S May and R Collier-Dawkins

Backline complete with Ridley a possibility via moving Laird to the mids in the coming rounds but will likely prioritise M8 and F6 first.

Zorko v Dusty. Bringing one in for Rowe tonight.
Having trouble picking them. Does Zorks go big with neale out or get tagged more often. Cheers

Howe is listed as 1-2 weeks away and with Moore returning to his CHB role where he belongs Keane will be the out when Howe comes back to the team.

Murphy made an impression last week and he's got talent, size, good hands, isn't shy about doing the messy defensive stuff when required and can run a bit in a wingman role so he's probably the better chance to stick, IFF he can stay healthy.

Now that Frederick is out I'm going with Rowe -> Murphy via J. Clark and Finlay DPP. The question mark over Murphy will be staying healthy as I think his JS should be pretty decent given out team. Not such a bad thing that Frederick is out though as he's still a strong one-down if he gets another game in the next few weeks (eyeing off Whitfield or Lloyd in that timeframe so a Frederick downgrade will be very handy).

Will bypass May now that he'll have to play more of a defensive role down back and will have another look at Daniel this week to see if he's worth bringing in next week (would mean Laird shifting to M8 permanently but so be it).

Likely wont make a second trade which means at wearing a donut again at R2, but I can't justify getting someone else in as a short term rental who I'll be trading out in a couple of weeks, despite the noticeable damage it's doing to my scoring every week. Desperately need Flynn to get a game for the next couple of weeks though to close the gap with Gawn.

Who to trade? Rowe, scoring poorly but a warm body and a fwd line emergency? Or Campbell, dropped for a few now but better scoring potential and not about to lose cash?
