Bad luck Goodie's. ha ha.
While Lobbe is a 99% lock, my only query is why he had such a crappy start to the season.
Was he injured, playing tandem with Reddan or any other reasons. Finished the year in great form.
Any idea's OZ ?
Don't know mate,
As I saw little of Port most of year they are a hard team to get a good read on for ins and outs of players.
Maybe he just made his coffee and tea with Adelaide water in first half of season and then purchased spring water after that and put that in his kettle for hot drinks... :)

Too late. In the thread "Rate My Team" Lobbe has been mentioned in teams more often than not.

Don't let Goodies catch you posting about this. He thinks no one else would even consider Lobbe and he has a potential breakout player all to himself :)

I think Lobbe shared the Ruck duties earlier on and was even dropped but when the other Ruckmen went out through injury, he got back into the team as the sole Ruckman

Bad luck Goodie's. ha ha.

What's everyone's take on Nathan Vardy?
Given a full preseason, do you think he'll be a breakout player this year?
I think a lot hinges on the fitness of HMac, if fully fit and firing, it'll affect all their outputs(Simpson, Blicavs, Vardy, with Kersten and Thawk filling the other big man role up forward...imo

Finally worked out how to do multiquotes LOL
I was looking for a R/F cheap alternative to Dixon in the FWD line.
Guess back to the drawing board

Yeah for sure. A good season from him will see him average 80-85 points. Also doubtful whether he will be doing much rucking with Simpson and McIntosh around so he'll be playing key forward (not a good scoring position).

...... now I only have one hidden gem left! :)

A Def gem I've only seen mentioned on this site 3 times since Oct 2013!

and no, I won't be revealing this one, or giving clues! :)
I do love guessing games :D but if you are playing hardball can you give the price/name eg rookie priced, mid priced, premium priced?

Yes you will, SC stats gurus' are problem gamblers, you will reveal a little for the players to guess your hand. You won't be able to help yourself.:)

I'm SO resisting the urge, but you may be right! :)

Nope. Hurn's in my team, and has been mentioned on this site about 20 times more than my mystery player. I think Hurn may turn out to be semi-popular, and end up in about 8-10% of teams. I expect my mystery player might only feature in around 2-3% of teams.

I'm not sure an injury to Clarke helps Apeness that much.
Firstly, Clarke and Sandilands had only been picked in the same team about 4 or 5 times in the last 4 seasons, so if Sandi is fit and selected, the Clarke injury is pretty inconsequential.
Secondly, Hannath probably has precedent over Apeness.
We might need another injury or two at Freo land, before we see Apeness take the field. :(

Apeness is more handy just as cheap FWD/RUC rookie to link up with someone like Dixon in forward line.
If he plays few games it is kind of what most of us that pick him would expect. When loophole opportunities arise I'd find ways to make use of him there during season at moments I see he can be a loophole agent for me.
There are not many options for FWD/RUC rookies if you want to create a link between FWD and RUC.
I think I put him in my team when I visited SC site quite a few weeks back when it let gold subscribers in.
