Just read that Bergman & Jones are in opposite sides in Port's match SIM this morning.

Expect KH announces the team by lunch time

I'd love to pick Bergman - any chance we'll know before the Dogs game on Friday night?
If he's not in I might put A Scott on field at F6 instead of on the mid bench.

In my early SuperCoach days,I’d always skimp on the ruckman,to try and build a stronger all round team. Whether it was my poor decision making,or not, I just found it took quite a few trades to get the guns in.
Now we have 2 of the upper echelon scorers in that position,who are durable, and will probably not drop in price much,you’re going to need your rookie rucks to keep getting games,and scoring decently, and hopefully not getting their underdeveloped bodies smashed,or get dropped.
If you strike trouble ,you’re very limited in what trades are available to replace them, due to price.
Nothing worse( in SuperCoach terms) than not having Gawn ,and seeing him producing 130s every week.
My 2 cents anyway, and remember, we’re all experts this time of year !

Not sure how far Alberton is away from the Port , but some nice pubs/beer gardens down that way when I have walked past.

It was playing tricks this morning , extra $$$ then wouldn't approve trades.

Would definitely advise everyone to have their Carlton & Richmond players set ASAP plus their Emergencies and not risk chaos before the game starts tonight.

Disclaimer: I started Naismith last year.

Was Naismith a bad pick though? You can't account for injury luck.

I actually think that he and Pittonet support the risk-taking ruck options.

Naismith was a bit older and had 28 games behind him, but he averaged 100 (small sample) despite doing his knee in the 2nd game.

Pittonet was 23 and had only played 7 games, but he averaged 105 in his first 5 games.

Meek is almost 23 and Flynn is 23 and a half. They are also half the price that Naismith and Pittonet were.

On field I’d probably go with Gulden, Scott has a lot of high possession ball winners around him, Both teams facing tough opponents though, I rather leave them both on the bench.

I'm inclined to pick Cahill - partially because he actually looks like he has a decent role. Not going to say he smashes it but of the rookies with limited ownership he appeals on the basis he could nailed a game or two, grow as a player and become an onfield option pretty quickly.

Are Bombers fan picking him or simply taking Jones?
