Just a heads up for anyone thinking of taking Jones of the port variety, he pinged a hammy in the SANFL last night. Not sure on severity but probably won’t be getting games any time soon.

Think Highmore has reasonable JS, assuming issues for Hurley who I think was his JS issue now out for a while. Kosi and Sharp less so, preferred to have Butts and move Sharp to mids. Meant McNeill stayed, probably shuffling deck chairs on the titanic right now with these rookies. Feel my starting 22 looks ok, mid and def rookies could be 0-5 in 3 weeks.
Nearly cut Dunkley to Taranto yesterday to lift McNeill up to Cahill. Will wait and see round 3, maybe it is Grundy to a rook and upgrade some rookies.
Ruck rookies though have just as much issues in my view. Flynn has role yet haven't seen scoring and Briggs may come in when up against Gawn type ruckman. Darcy and Marshall could be influencing Meek and Hunter by round 4, think one will be ok to round 5, not sure which one though.
spot on about rookies this year, have to go now though, someone up the front of the Titanic needs a deck chair to have a better view of a ice mountain coming out of the water...........
Dow deserves another week imo. Did nothing for Majority of 1st qrt and nothing after HT and still scored 60. One of the lowest time on grounds too. If pooh next week then yes corrective trade
Would like to see the North team first (but probably can't since Brockman plays before 5PM today)
I don't like Lazzaro because I assume some of the North mids haven't got up and will replace him in Round 2.
Sharp is the one I've got, mainly for his scoring potential as well as flexibility (D/M with Clark)
The fact he's in year 12 isn't great, but still the one I'd go from those 3.

Debated Lazzaro vs Berry, picked Berry as more likely mid time, better build (weight about 7kg more) and Crouch out for indefinite period. Lazzaro size and agility suggest he may play forward, don't like that for a team that will see the ball in defence a lot. Maybe he gets some mid time with players out, however, avoided Jack Martin for same reason, injury was foreseeable in mid role for a lightweight player.
I would think it is Brockman, Sharp then Lazzaro. Sharp elite endurance, 30sec better than Lazzaro on 2km trial, will need it as he is lighter by a few kgs. Outside game if it stays that way suits Sharp, like his defence option, dpp with Clark. Sharp not the best kick nor contested game. Needs a wing role to have an effect, if he does all right, they should just leave him out there roaming.
