Assume most owners would not be willing to trade him in RD5 and come RD6 the 130 will have exited his price cycle, close to $300,000 should still be made on the trade and allows time for price increases for other rookies.
Fair enough , could miss out on Waterman's biggest price rise though as well delaying it a week.

Be interesting if he performs again next round how people try and get him in , probably too early trading a bench rookie to him.

I still think it would be easier to use Walker to go up to a premium , but if he keeps pumping out 125+ he might be a season long keeper himself.

I guess it will be a important decision to either hold/trade Walker & Ziebell at the right time

Walker owners and their first world problems...

At least I'll make 20k dumping one of my spuds that haven't played 3 games for Waterman
Tex vs NM could be anything, even a 70 with a few easier games suggests you will give him an extra game or two to see if he has another spike score, if he flatlined in next 1-2 weeks. The game has changed and it feels many are resisting it. Stringer, Bruce all examples. Until the coaches work out how to slow the game, the big inside players who cannot run out a game will struggle and forwards will do well.

What has surprised me is the intercept players doing well, however, didn't allow for all the extra running and long quarters is seeing fast flowing movement from tired players. Eagles whilst dominant look spent a few times chasing down a running Port player (Gaff, Duggan, the endurance players).

Rowe could be on the chopping block, looking like the NM mid rookie who tonned up week one, gone by round 4.

Also, Waterman in winning side, lets say how he goes vs Swans. Did like his courage going back into pack to take a mark and goal. Round 5 looking like rookie inflow over round 4.

I think Bergman will be back in the side next week after last night's debacle. Hartlett is looking very near the end.

Any chance Highmore comes back after StKildas performance? I thought he played reasonably well in the first couple of games?
No Highmore, no Saints lol.

After yday's poor showing against Essendon. Highmore is a shoe in to play over half of the saints team. Carlisle should/could go out for him.

Highmore to me seemed like an overreaction to the size of Essendon and then they didn't play Carlisle in defense. Ultimately they dropped Highmore so they could send Hill and Clark back to defense, Hill in particular was so badly exposed it lasted a half.

Throw in how gutless they were and the thrashing and there's a lot of reasons to see him come back in next week.

Bergman is a chance but not playing is such a big blow for the chances.

Sharp also probably an outside chance but unlikely.

Dow probably the only rookie priced guy who looks more likely than not to be dropped this week.

Chapman the bubble boy who looks really good. Giro probably still cheap enough thanks to the sub game to be right in the mix also.

North Melb.
Can anyone who watched the Swans game on the weekend give some insight into Braeden Campell's 29?

Saw him the week before and he looked great but theres a big difference between 100+ and that score.
More attention on him or a lockdown role required or did he cop a whack or something?

Thanks!

So Chapman seems reasonable this week, but one or two others showing their heads for the week after (waterman, Robertson, others?). Anyone have a view on which of them might stay the course?

Chapman reasonable js short term, if the bombers keep their forward structure of Hooker, Stringer, Jones and Waterman, I believe Waterman could be a permanent fixture. Although I'm not sure where Peter Wright sits with ruck/forward responsibilities. Might leave it to bomber supporters for their view. Not sold on Dev, played well, but is he out when Jarrod Berry comes back, although Tommy Berry could make way too.
