Thanks Herbie, that's quite insightful.

I ended up heavy in the mids because of the Danger > Titch move, that'll be rectified by bringing in a Fwd for Gaff as I'm heavy with rookies on field there.

After 2 trades this week I'll have the following rookies:

Def------J Clark (not tech. a rookie) Highmore, Kosi & Sharp
Mid------Gulden, JordOn, Powell, Berry & McNeil
Ruc------Flynn, Meek, Hunter
Fwd------Campbell, Rowe, Brockman, Fullarton, Scott

By the looks of things Gulden, Campbell, Flynn and Jordan could each make 300-350k (probs a bit high)
Powell, Berry & Meek 250k
Highmore & Kosi 200k
Brockman & Clark 150k
It would be a bonus if the others hung around long enough to make any $

Obviously my price assumptions are speculative and might not meet my lofty expectations. With a bit of luck there's 4 one up/one down trades there already and I'm hoping that other rookies will present themselves throughout the year, after last years hit to the junior ranks I would expect that quite a few will take a while to get up to speed, Phillips being a prime example.

Edit......The rucks for me rely on CCJ and Treacy (was hoping Fullarton too) getting games long enough for some cash gen. allowing only 2 trades to upgrade (with a wad of cash ITB)

Warner appears the only one missing.

I haven't looked at price projections yet , so hopefully your projections are spot on as I own most of them.

I missed Brockman as well , looked like he had a complete score reversal from Round 1 so will be interesting to see how he performs in future games.

One year I will just start all the Rookies named Round 1 for a bit of fun 😀

Geez, thanks for the Warner heads up. I have him in the other format and just assumed I had him in SC Now to work out a way to get Gaff out and Jordan + Warner in.

S.Giro on the bubble this week after a sub affected 27 in rd1, but a decent 63 in rd2. Not sure on his JS but haven’t seen any mention of him as an option.

Always seems to be that 1 rookie that gets away from the masses each year. I wonder ...

Can you afford to wait a week on Impey? If he scores 90 this week, he will rise $69K to $282K.

He’d still be in the cash cow price range (just!) and you get the benefit of seeing if he can back it up.

Yeah he would need to average 85+ probably to make 150k on top of 282K. Asking too much?

It's hard to know without knowing if you are compromising other $$$ avenues to pick Impey over them. Who would you be missing if you went Impey?

Brockman against Geelong feels like a 30-40 to me, pretty good at keeping a small forward quiet, think 70 is about his ceiling he was very good in patches on the weekend and only got to 77.

I think you have to call it now at $200k, now or never.

I surprised people looking at Tex at $300k aren’t instead looking at Impey, unless they already have him.

Tex becomes unreachable if he has another great week. You miss the boat completely.

Whereas Impey could have a good week (ie. 90+) and you could still possibly correct to him from a Jordan Clark type if he has another bad week (ie. 65-75).

Tex has had two good scores in a row, happens as a kpf. I wouldn't be breaking my team to get him in.

Oh wait, we are all in direct competition.

Tex is a must have.
