So I thought I would share

Ghost ship? definitely not.
My dad (82) wanted to do his own team this year (without my help - maybe I need his)
He flew to Perth this week and forgot to change a few things in his team (nothing new). Sometimes I think it's strategic.

If he scores like that with 9 players and only one with DGR , just let him do what he wants

- Out: Kelly, Sangha, ...
- In: Hales, Turner etc ...
- Maybe Barteltt to Guthrie etc to fund it ...
- If he could squeeze in Bazley then I'd go that option first ...
Caveat: not sure what the make up of the BRI team will be heading forward ...

Dug through the archives from my first BBL SC season (18/19) and found these screenshots.
The legendary 376 from Stoinis was the perfect storm as he opened the bat and bowled at the death during the Stars DGR. Essentially this was the Daniel Sams/ Tom Curran role on steroids.
I don’t see these records (points and price) getting broken anytime soon! It felt like having access to a cheat code.

The Sydney Sixers are yet to confirm any specifics on Tom Curran‘s ($170k BAT/BWL) back issue but there has been speculation he has sustained a stress fractures and will be ruled out for the season. We are still awaiting confirmation on that.

So with mills confirmed leaning towards getting him but leaves me with problems still got matt kelly and what to do with stars players i want to hold maxi and dont know bout curran injury and could be good idea to have extra bench player so my plan of darcy short might not happen in this round but if he goes big again i might not be able to get him
At this early stage it looks like (holding Maxwell, Clarke and Couch):
DreRuss, Curran, Zampa > Inglis, Agar, Behrendoff
Will leave me with:

so my plans atm was goin to do stoinis dre russ zampa out for mills agar and Darcy short but also thinking renshaw and backup case i needed it and another idea was hold maxi stoinis zampa but wouldnt have much for this round and would help if finch and hughes both play curran and m kelly might be a massive problem defintely got a situation on my hands but least can muck round till sunday until next round start

Round 6 will be interesting
Might depend on how many SGR of Curran (injury concern) , Marsh , Maxwell , Philippe , Rashid & Sams etc people can hold and field to be the differential.
Suspect Ellis , Lamichhane , Lynn , Mujeeb , Short , Wade will be all popular.
Don't expect Bartlett or Bazley owners trading them out before Round 6.
McDermott could be a interesting POD
No updates on Meredith.
No idea on Neser , Steketee or Swepson's availability

I thing if you can afford the extra 20k wihout to much stress then Behrendoff is the better option. I think he will be more consistent but may not have the potential ceiling of Ingils if he can get some runs quickly.
I for one at this stage will probaly get both, but at the moment I have Clarke as WKP so think Ingils will be a better option than Clarke, Clarke can sit on the bench, hopefully if he ever posts a decent score I will be able to loop it on to the field, but am not holding my breath.

Out: Curran , DreRuss , Elliott
Backing Stoinis & Zampa to come good could be advantageous.
Plenty of options for ins , depends whether you want players for DG4 or are looking ahead to 5 & 6.
2 from Agar , Inglis , Mills probably works + someone like Lamichhane.
Then need to work out who you are trading out in 5 & 6 though as well.

I think one problem you have is you cant get Gilkes out of the WKP bench. I think your other best trade out options are probalby DreRuss/Stoinis and Zampa/MKelly (if he is not selected). And then hope that Finch gets up and plays so you can have him as bat6 to replace Maxwell.
I dont really know if I'm much help, but the other problem you may have is if Curran does not get up. I think you may need to trade Stionis, DreRuss and Zampa/Kelly and hope all of Finch/Hughes/Kann play just to get numbers on-feild for this week and sort your bench out over the coming SGR's. With boland out I think it opens the door for Kann (maybe).
At some stage I also think you may need to get a BAT/WKP on your BAT bench to give some flexibility to get Philippee/Gilkes to be able to switch to BAT line.
