He's enjoying being the villain here.

It's actually given him a bit of swagger that I haven't really seen before.

Big test here against Humphries, but maybe that sort of attitude will help unlock him.

He's been on the brink of unlocking for a while, and then puts in a shocker.

Very, very difficult to select with some toing and froing between the duo of N Aspinall and R Van Barneveld or K Ratajski and R Searle.
Currently on:
M Van Gerwen (C), M Smith and G Price
D Van den Bergh, D Van Duijvenbode and R Searle
J Rock, A Gilding, K Ratajski and G Anderson
Aspinall to win the tournament to rub it in even further after the elimination of Captain Searle.

World Matchplay - Final Results
Aspinall takes out Clayton 18-6 resembling @THCLT taking out the rest of our competition. A great level of consistency with 2 x10 point results on the spin and 44 of a possible 50 points so far. As for those behind, it's close. We have a 3 way tie on 35 being separated by the latest result. @tso shading @Jay Sea and @Rowsus. The rest of the field are starting to be gapped by the peloton. We have work to do at September's World Series of Darts Finals.

Fair to say I jumped the wrong way :ROFLMAO: but great to see Aspinall win another major.
