@The Banker .... as will be mentioned in my final selections ....

- Another thing you could add into your spreadsheet are the player nicknames ...
- I always loved Phil "The Power" Taylor .... for at least one obvious reason ...

Did you know that Phil will be participating in the newly founded World Seniors Darts Tour at the World Senior Darts Championship this upcoming weekend, where he can rekindle his old rivalry against Peter Manley (assuming Peter defeats Deta Hedman)?

One thing I must admit that I find strange in this comp ....

- Max of 4 players this round ... some had four get through ... why the cap ??
- Max of 4 player changes ... doesn't really advantage the above comment ...

- Salary cap in place ... some could potentially have had 6 players in play and thus rewarding their initial selections ...

Get what you are saying, however that was what the Worlds comp did, reduce team numbers from 8 down to 4 as it went on.

How many people are going to want to play if they have 0 players left at this stage. Gives everyone a chance to scrape some points back in the latter half

@Tails just further on this stuff…

The cap is basically there to choose Price or Wright.
Given 1 is out there’s no need for the cap.

The Worlds comp wasn’t capped, you could only pick certain players by number category.
1-8, 9-32, 33-beyond (May have those brackets wrong btw)

I have introduced the bonus and was hoping for some strategy, as all selections are in I can say that’s what I have got. Some have kept maximum bonus chances alive, some have tweaked. It got the results I was looking for.

I agree this isn’t a perfect product. I have found the -1 legs an absolute failure at leg gameplay. I’m working on ways to improve this going forward…the problem, some have benefitted with their selections this round by not losing as many legs or -1s, and some have not.

I just played around with the scoring table. If you didn't lose points for a negative leg here's the results. I'm undecided on where I sit on this, I haven't deciphered it all, just showing you on pure won legs and peripherals what the players would have scored. The downside to those that have won matches easily is, they are then penalised less chances at peripherals for shorter matches.

This is why I brought up the in between method of scoring +/-0.5

Edit: Disregard James Wade, he would finish on 6
