I'm seeing a few Smith/Clayton combos?
Hedging the result to ensure they progress with a player into the Semi Finals in which they have the chance of receiving the 2, 3 or 5 point bonus dependent on how the player fares.

For example, if I was to hedge a match in Week 3 of the Premier League then it would be Cullen VS Van Gerwen. Wright and Clayton are both in the other half of the draw thus the top half of the draw provides a more open opportunity of possibly selecting a finalist.

Can be a bit rough at times with his scoring, but when it’s flowing he’s someone that can break with ease in 12-13 darts. Really coming on as a player and think they have made the right choice.

The field of 8 is so good. I wrote MVG off (fixture related and imo he’s dropped form) and that was a much improved performance. Took Clayton to play 4 legs @109 to get the job done. MVG owners that stuck with him or took a punt were a bit stiff.

The strategy I’m kind of adhering to as my base. Spot where Clayton is before I make any decisions. Taking him isn’t always going to work, but he’s at the very least the 3rd best player in the world right now, and proving that with his results so far.

World Series of Darts Finals= 24 entrants
World Grand Prix= 32 entrants
European Championship= 32 entrants
Grand Slam of Darts= 32 entrants
