Another solid run in one of the majors such as the Matchplay and he should be within the top 20 as there is currently a $18,750 gap between he and Bunting in 20th. Highly unlikely that Whitlock ever passes him in the world rankings again as Simon is defending a large portion of his earnings this year (approx 70% if I recall correctly from an Edgar video/PDC article) from the Quarter Finals of the 2020 World Matchplay and Semi Finals of the 2020 World Grand Prix and Grand Slam of Darts.
