Still buzzing after the unexpected win this morning. Great for both players at opposite ends of their careers. Hopefully propels Heta to becoming a really big name player of the future, and a nice way for Whitlock to cap an incredible career, whenever that may be. Great for the game in this country too.

Although the seeds all made it through to the quarters in this edition, short form darts showcases that anyone can really win in this format if you are running hot.

EVENT 5 : BETFRED WORLD MATCHPLAY

Believe this kicks off Sunday morning at 0400 AEST. Similar team selection format to past tournaments with a slight tweak from Rd 2 onwards in that you can choose whether you take 0-2 players from the 1-4 category, and fill that in the opposite category with 4-6 from the rest. Bit more freedom to go against the grain should you wish. VC only applies to the first 2 rounds of the tournament. Below are the draws to assist with team selection. Good luck!
