2024 Team List doc is the best for the salary cap.

NB. I took all the prices for players yesterday morning for most teams. If changes were made after that they may not be reflected. So, please be aware of your salary situation. I'll do my best to update for accuracy, however I need time for my own planning.

@KLo30 on my team tab, I know you are doing some clean-up today.

In the cell in row K (where the yellow box is) next to Dow and McInerney where I understand the contract years (K76 and K82) are to be inserted, there is a formula, do I just over-ride this formula to put the contract years?

I know you will get to it, but there is still a Pass in my team list and Brodie Smith's cost is not included in the summary.

Great work getting the auction and draft organised all went very smoothly

Overwrite formula and insert contract years. Once you've done that I will enter in 2024 Team List doc. Use the summary in there.

Thanks

I noticed Ken you have started the Rd 1 teams sheet. Not sure if you are still editing/ creating for the new year so haven't entered my team yet, but once you give the green light will do so. 😀
I will update my team closer to the first bounce … once I know who is in my squad 😋

My challenge to you this year is to orchestrate a ten team mega trade! ;)
Hmmm - I don’t think it would be too difficult to come up with a trade that improves each coach’s squad …

… the difficulty might be convincing 10 coaches of that.

“What do you mean Brayden Sier isn’t worth a first rounder?!”

Bonus points if ND35 is part of any proposal. :)

SCSUL Round 1 should be ready to go.

I'm just contemplating the best way to go for the entering of teams and transparency.

My current thinking is teams should pick their best team before the opening game on Thursday, including C and VC. Leave C and VC and delete non AFL Round Zero players, other than C and VC.

When AFL Round 1 teams are named, finalise SCSUL Round 1. Teams are not allowed to name a non named player in order to take an emergency score from AFL Round Zero.

Flexibility and Transparency.

Thoughts?

Yep sounds good. Would it be fine to include notes as to which Round 0 players a team proposes to place onfield if Round 1 players aren’t named? I presently have quite a few under injury clouds…

I did this through notes last season.

E.G

Hogan on ground
Switkowski emergency
Zac Fisher not in squad.

Named it as such, then wrote in notes.
If Hogan dnp, Swit on ground, fisher too emergency.

This is awkward if Fisher playing in round 0, however note is clear? If Fisher scores 100, I can't get him on unless two of my fowards then don't play?

Don't love this, I read that as you can't field a nil player if your emergency scores well in round 0?

Don't think that works, I am currently 50/50 on playing Holmes or Rowbottom.

If Rowbottom is M9, and any of my named M1-8 don't play, I think it is fair I can keep that player fielded and obtain my M9 score. The way the above reads, is Holmes would be deleted as a non afl round zero player and I can't re field him if not selected. I think we are better off just naming your best side, and who your next 2 or 3 options are each line.. it just defaults to next in line?
